called it the baby LTD. Ford's mid sized police car was the replacement
for the Ford Faimont police package. The Police Package was available on
the LTD in 1984 and 1985. The retail Ford LTD was sold from 1983 to 1986.
Often called the 4 door Mustang, these Police LTD's shared the Mustang's
5.0 HO engine.These tough little police cars were quick and were great
catching up quick to a speeder. Departments that used these LTDs included
Florida Highway Patrol, Washington State Patrol, Oregon State Police, Los
Angeles County CA Sheriff, Philadelphia PA Police. |
