When I was a little boy(about
eight)I broke my arm. After a long time in the hospital. I came
home and went to bed, than all night long faces would appear on
my bedroom wall than they would fade away. After a few minutes
another one would come than go. For a little kid this was a very
frighting expearance. When the next morning arrived I told my
mother what happened and she told me I was having nightmeres from
the medication. I did not sleep that night so I did not believer
her than and i still do not. That is my short story about why I
believe in ghost.

OK, here's my story:
I got a coworker addicted to
table-top wargames. You know, the kind with little metal figures
you push around the table, "ducking" behind styrofoam
and cardboard "buildings," etc. Since I live in a dinky
little apartment and he lives in a house, he set up a gaming
table in his basement and we meet every week or so to slaughter
each other's troops.
The first time I went down in
the basement, I felt this kind of creepy feeling. It was
well-lit, but I just got this gloomy weirdness. I didn't think
much of it.
The next time I went down
there, I got the same feeling. This time, after my friend left
the basement, I went "exploring." There were four rooms
down there in addition to the big room that was the game
room/exercise room. One was the laundry room, one was a bathroom,
one was a walk in closet...
... and one was a guest
bedroom. I got a shiver when I got to the door. I couldn't
explain it. I went in anyway.
There was a bed, but no linens,
a bike, and some winter clothes in a pile, but the really strange
part, to me, was that there were no pictures on the walls. Just
the white bareness. I suddenly got a real chill and I quickly
left.
My friend came back down and I
asked if the room was being used. He said no; it had been for
guest, but they hadn't had guests stay over since April, and
those that stayed there got creeeped out.
"Creeped out?" I
asked.
He said that his mother woke up
one night and saw a picture fall off the wall. His wife's brother
kept telling them to turn down the A/C, even though there was no
A/C into the basement. His one-year old daughter would start
kicking and screaming if she were brought into the room.
It's not an old house, and I
doubt his family has been the only one there. I don't consider
myself "sensative" to ghosts or spirits, but that room
scared me.

(This is following up on
"weird room.")
Read "Weird Room"
before you read this to find out the background.
I still play wargames with my
friend who has the spooky guest room, and have introduced a third
player, "Greg." The first game Greg played against my
co- worker friend began at a quarter to 9 and ended sometime
after 2 a.m. I was there as well, acting as impartial ref and
rules judge, and none of us had figuredhte game would last that
long.
This was Saturday, January 9,
and we had received a good deal of snow, much of which had melted
and turned to ice on the neighborhood roads leading to my co-
worker friend's house. Because the roads were unlit, he suggested
we stay over.
Immediately, Greg called
"Dibs on the guest room!" I was fine lying on the couch
in the living room; I went to college and had had worse beds
there. 'Sides, the room still freaked me.
Around 4, Greg shook me awake.
He looked real bad; pale, sweaty, and frantic. I told him to keep
it down; my co-worker friend was still sleeping. He said he saw
something. "Something not right." I asked him to
describe it. He said he woke up soon after falling asleep,
feeling he was being watched. He got up, turned on the light and
saw nothing. He said he figured he had had to much soda the day
before (or something like that) and had a bad dream, so he went
back to sleep.
little later, he woke up again,
and this time saw something leave the room. It looked like the
size of a child, he said. He got up again and left the room to
find the child. Wasn't in the hall, wasn't in any other room,
nowhere. He turned the hall light on and went back to sleep.
He woke up a third time, again,
awakened by a presence. He turned to the hallway and saw the
child. A little girl in a party dress, white socks and black
shoes, with culy hair leading to her waist.
"That's pretty freaky,
man," I said.
"Dude, she was standing on
the ceiling."
"Jesus..."
"That's not all, man...
her eyes were yellow."
All said and done, he didn't go
back to the guest room. I don't figure this guy to get scared so
easily, but he was really shaken up. He sat in the kitchen until
we left around 8:30. I never told him about my feelings towards
that room. Now, I'm going to have a bitch of a time to convince
him to play wargames with my co-worker again.

Hello !
I did read all the story you
got in your page (wich is excellent !). And I'd like to share a
part of mine !!
I'm a student in university and
I'm not following any religion, and I was raised in a very
sceptic family, but they had no choice to beleive when it all
started !!
The first thing that happened
is that a light from a nerby house would always go off when I
passed near it. At first we though it was a coincidence, (the
house being old we though the light was just old too and not
working well. But it kept happening over and over, it was only
going off when I passed close to it !!! never when other passed.
Then the light outside my best friend house would always go out
every time I put my foot in the entry way and stay close until I
went inside. As soon as I got in it would light up again and stay
lighted until I came out. then it would close again and light up
when I went out the entry way. Many other lights are doing the
same things with me and only me. Any explanation somebody ??
This is not all ! In my
father,s basement (where my room is) there is a suspended light,
everytime I go down it start balancing (it started at the same
time the light started to go off, I was around 13 or 14)it
continue to balance until I go back upstairs. When I sleep in my
room the light balance all night. Now when my mom want to know if
I'm sleeping home she just check the light... no need to come
into my room anymore !! This was really freaking me up but now
I'm used to it. I really wonder what it can be... a ghost ?? of
whom ??? My house was build for my parents so no "last
user" with weird stories of murder and such... and it's a
tranquil place where nothing happens. Also their was nothing
where the house is located before the house was putted there.
What can it be ????
