Kasey

I've lived in two haunted houses in my life. The first house I grew up in was haunted by a ghost named Kasey. He was the former owner and had died in his sleep from a massave heart attack. While we lived there, Kasey would hide objects, then leave them in plane view as well as play with the washer and dryer during the night. My mother, father, older brother and myself have all had encounters with him. My father, when he saw a tall shadow walking me (back when I was a sleep walker) back to my room, my mother when she saw a shadow close the door to her room (when we all slept in the same room) and I said in my sleep "That was Kasey, Mom." and my older brother when he had friends over and slipped his hand under the closed door to retreave a marble. He felt a pressure, like someone standing on his hand, only it wasn't painful. He just couldn't pull his hand back. He started getting scared and it released him suddenly. When he whipped open the door, this taking all of a few seconds from the time he drew his hand back, no one was there. I saw him one night when I was about 9. We had gotten in the habbit of sleeping in my parents room ( considering it WAS haunted, even a friendly spirit was freaky) and, one night when my father left the bed, I saw a shadow appear in mid air, like a split screen. Needless to say I was scared as it looked around the room. I must have made some noise because it's head whipped toward me before it disappear. Then in 1986, the house burned and the minute we entered it we knew that Kasey was gone.

When we moved onto an Ait Force base in Alabama, my father and myself had seen and heard strange things. Once, while walking from a field with a friend, I saw from the corner of my eye a man dressed in a navel uniform decending some stairs. When I turned my head I saw a building thats entrance had be walled up and no stairs decended from that side of the building. At the house though, there were always footsteps walking down the hallway, and late at night when I was the only one awake I'd see people. They were more like shadows and I always thought it was my younger brother peeking from around the wall to scare me. Whenever that happened I would immediately go check on him, only to find he was dead asleep (no pun intended). One night, while I was on the computer, I felt a presence at my back. Thinking my father had awaken and was standing behind me getting ready to scare me ( we are terminal practical jokers) I whirled around only to find nothing there. I didn't feel cold though, it felt like when someone stands so close to you your ALMOST touching and can feel their body heat. It was after that incident that I told my father. He said the same stuff had been happening to him but he didn't want to alarm anyone. He then told me he had researched where we were living and wouldn't you know... In WWII Gunter Air Field was used as a training field. There we quiet a few crashes and many lives lost as the planes of that day were perfected. The new houseing area had been built on the old runway. The reason for our nightly visitors. Only twice did I feel that I was in the presence of evil, in my room. Both time I stayed away for a few hours and when I returned, there was nothing there.

Just thought I'd share a few encounters of ghosts that I have proof of... The others I've heard of seen...well...thats a whole nother story..............

I've had a few terrifying moments in my house before - here's 3 of them.

One night, I was sitting at the kitchen table, reading. My parents were outside, and my brothers were in the living room, watching TV. Suddenly, I heard knocking on the ceiling. Without thinking, I went to the stairs, and yelled at my brother's to stop banging on the floor. But then I realized that they were both in the living room.

About a year or 2 later, my uncle was putting tile down in the bathroom. My mom was standing in the doorway, and when he looked up, her saw a man all in white walk by. He thought they were his co-workers, and he stood up to get them. But when he walked out of the bathroom, there was no one there. He then assumed someone was in the house, and he went all over the house looking for the man. But the man seemed to have disappeared.

It was a few months later or so that I was sitting at the table with my parents. I happened to look over towards the garage door, and I saw a hazy figures all in white standing there, and I could tell it was a man. I felt the blood drain from my face, and I started yelling and pointing. I started crying and laughing and going hysterical all at the same time.

On occasion, my brother Teddy has heard whispering in the upstairs hallway when he was up there alone. My father has heard knocking and scratching in the corner of the living room, as if someone was trying to get in. My dad even came downstairs once, and everything came flying out of the pantry! I myself has heard muffled talking late at night, when everyone is asleep. At first I think it's the TV,but then I remember that everyone is in bed. Once I got out of bed to see what was downstairs, but when I reached to the top of the stairs, it stopped.

It is rather strange, because this is a new house - no one lived in it before us. But this land was once farmland, so you never know.
