Ayr Archery Club present
Scottish Archery Holiday
Quick Clicks
In 1992, Ayr Archery Club hosted the
first Archery Holiday week. Archers
from around the world came to Ayr
and tried a different type of archery
every day. It was such a success
that the week is now a regular event
on the shooting calendar.
The week is fully residential. The
Ayr club's main ground is on the
campus of the university of
Paisley. Most archers choose to
stay here, but some come by
caravan, and travel around
Scotland the following week.
There are competitions every
day, but the emphasis of the
week is on fun.
Coaching is also available, from
Harrie Jacobs, the renowned
Dutch international coach.
