Looking back towards the north along the western edge of the fence. The
deep purple bloomson the left belong to
Cardinel de Richeleu,
the deep pink blooms next to it
belong to Deseree Parmentier. The bright red
branch sticking out is
Dortmund, and next to it are the white blooms of
Felicite Parmentier,
then a light pink unknown and so on....

If we turn right around and look east, we see the roses planted around
the dog pen. The white rose closest to us is
alba suavoleans, with a purplish
Belle de Crecy next to it. Then a
mystery dark gallica , Madamme Hardy,
Henry Martin,
yet another Deseree Parmentier and finally the
unknown alba from
Olivett Cemetary.

Having walked along the front of this garden, we now look back long it
with the graveyard alba in front.

Turning the corner of the dog pen, we see some gallica seedlings that
are pretty much over with, and some odds and ends mixed in.

One such odd and end is this
seedling from the yellow climber. Thinking
that it would get as large as its parent, I placed it here, but it
would probably be better off in the center rose garden with the hybrid
teas or english roses.

At the very end of this row, is
Veilchenblau, devouring one of my
gallica seedlings.
