The Tour of the Yard

Part Three

Now lets walk towards the south along the western edge of the fence. There are quite a few modern shrub roses mixed in amongst the Old Garden Roses along this fence, giving color all summer long.

The round shrub covered in tiny red roses is Robin Hood. It will continue to bloom all summer long.

A little further down we see a Gallica seedling of mine that is completely done blooming. Next to it is the fragrant Felicite Parmentier covered in its white/blushed pink blooms. And then the unknown red shrub which will bloom all summer. Beyond it is a pink once blooming OGR that I aquired as a cutting and have no idea as to its identity.

Here we are looking back towards the north along the western fence, where we see on the left, Robin Hood just getting started, then a young bush of Leda with its white blossoms. Next to Leda is Nearly Wild with its single pink flowers (a misplaced Floribunda). Then we can see Austrian Copper finishing with its orange/yellow blooms and Centifolia Variegata as the large shrub with pale white/striped pink blooms in the corner.
