Shrub

This rose produces bright red flowers in clusters throughout the summer. The leaves are large, glossy and deeply quilted. It is fairly hardy for a repeat blooming shrub, being totally exposed to the western winds. It does suffer some dieback, but what doesn't make it through the winter is quickly replaced with new long dark canes.

It came marked as Robin Hood, but it doesn't look like any Robin Hood rose that I've seen. If you know what it is, please drop me a line.
