Rene d'Anjou
Damask Moss
1853
Rene d'Anjou was planted in my garden in the summer of 1997.
Since then, she has grown quite well and has shown excellent repeat.
The buds are covered in brownish green moss, though not quite as heavily as
Common Moss, and open up into very fragrant
pink blooms. So far, I'm really happy with the vigor of this rose
and how well she puts out blooms.
This rose was raised from a cutting and is on its own roots.
