Nearly Wild
Floribunda
This hardy little floribunda was developed by Dr. Brownwell in the
1940's. Here in Colorado it forms a nice dense bush about 2 to 3 feet
high and blooms all summer. The flowers are single and bright pink.
Unfortunately the buds seem to be a favorite amongst the rose weavils
here. These weavils, otherwise known as snout beatles, don't hurt the
bush at all, but they do ruin the buds and blooms, poking holes
in the buds and causing them to shrivel.
