gallica seedling 6

gallica seedling 6

Actually, there are two roses in this picture. I was running out of space and planted both in the same hole. They are even more seedlings of the gallica Alain Blanchard. One has medium pink blooms the other has looser, deep pink blooms. The lighter pink one has deep green leaves and the dark pink one has lighter leaves. Both have some spotting in the blooms.

The inter-twined bushes are about 3 feet tall and spread to about 5 feet wide. Given time, they would probably sucker to the other side of my yard if not for the lawn mower. Like all my gallica seedlings, they produce lots of hips and are quite cane hardy in the winter.

These aren't the end of my gallica seedlings. I have even more and they're all a bit different from each other!
