Common Moss
Moss
also know as centifolia muscosa, Old Pink Moss
1727
Common Moss came about from a sport of R. centifolia. Other than the moss,
it is very similar to R. centifolia, including having a wonderful fragrance.
The plant habit is large and open, with very thorny canes. The flower buds
are heavily mossed with brown moss that is quite fragrant when rubbed.
This plant is on its own roots. It was obtained as a cutting from
a cemetery in Denver, Co. It is quite cane hardy here.
