The magic with Color Magic is seeing how the pink buds open up and turn red
where the sun touches them. They are beautiful and high centered.
The plant is only moderately vigorous in my garden, possibly because it
has to recover every year from completely dying down to the ground during
the winter. Although it has been described as an "annual" here in Colorado,
it has managed to come back for eight years now.
