yellow climber seedling
This is a seedling from the very fertile
unknown yellow climber. I need to get
some better pictures of it because it produces flowers just as nicely
formed as it's mother. Instead of being a climber though, this plant is
a bush very much like a floribunda, getting about 3 to 4 feet high.
The buds are often red streaked, just like those on the seed parent.
The light yellow flowers are large and open up to show the stamens.
They are not apricot yellow like the parent, but instead just pure
light yellow.
The foliage is large, glossy and medium green.
It is a good repeater and also winter hardy. Very much a keeper for me.
