Genevieve's Thumbprint Violet
Here's one my daughter picked out at the grocery store.
It's definitely an optimara - all the violets had optimara
labels but only some had names. We picked it up the same
time we got a named Trinidad and Maui. The blooms are
large stars that vary from pure white to almost solid
burgundy purple, depending on how much lights it's
getting at the time.
It's been tentatively indentified as Optimara Gauguin.
