My Background

Since 1990 I have been serving this community with private, discreet one one one training, instruction & consulting services. It started out as a hobby, and grew from there.

My experience in Law Enforcement and exposure to tactical training lead to many friends and family asking me to teach them how to handle weapons. As I gained in my knowledge of K9 training and tactics, people started coming out of the woodwork to learn a comprehensive style of personal protection. Education, a good dog, and your weapon of choice...."MIND~SPIRIT~K9" turned into the motto.

20 years of exposure to martial arts, as well as a career of chasing felons all over the country, Ive learned much. Being shot, stabbed, and in numerous hand to hand situations, Ive learned what works, what doesnt, and more importantly, how to avoid it in the first place. My training has gained me exposure to advanced tactics use of handguns, shotguns, carbines, and edged weapons. Learning the use of a K9 as a family pet and protector helped me to compliment a full spectrum of training. A wider perimeter of protection and better advanced solutions are hard to put a price on when you have a family.
