Welcome to our web sight. We hope you love the American Pit Bull Terrier as much as we do. We first came to know and love this breed with our first dog "Becky". Our son chose her from the litter a farmer friend of ours had, so began the story of a boy and his dog. "Becky" was a people friendly dog and loved to play with the neighborhood children and tree the neighborhood cats. She was quite intelligent and mastered quite a number of tricks. Boys grow up, dogs get old, nature takes it's course, and "Becky" is no more.

So, in August of 1996 we started again with a new puppy, Punchy's "Sammy Terry", registered with the American Dog Breeders Association. Sammy's breeder was Phil Aris, a dog man of more than 50 years. Sammy's top side is heavy "Greenwood" and the bottom side is Crenshaw's "Stu Fowler".

Is one dog really enough? Well, apparently not in our case, because then we had two, then three, then ......, well you get the picture. Now we have enough dogs to keep us plenty busy. I told my wife one day "It's become a real dog emporium around here". So that is how we came up with the name for our yard and this web site.
