Name: Harold Wisdom

Hair: White

Eyes: Blue

Distinct Characteristics: Beard, and is a paranoid old coot

First Appearance:Pryde and Wisdom 2

When Did We Last See Him?:Pryde and Wisdom 3

Family Relations:Romany Wisdom (daughter), Pete Wisdom (son)

Occupation: Retired; Formally Detective Sergeant of New Scotland Yard

Mutant Abilities: None known

Treatment of Pete: He hates his son because he feels Pete was responsible for the death of his wife. He treats Pete with distain and hatred by giving him malicious quips

Treatment of Kitty: He treats Kitty almost as bad as he treats Pete. It is probably for his feelings for Pete that he treats Kitty so awfully (or the fact that she's a Yank). When he first meets Kitty he calls her a " . . .corrupt Amerikan Freemasion Pagan Witch Girl-friend. . ."

History: The father of Romany and Pete, he is visited by Pete and Kitty, while they are investigating the disappearance of Amanda Jardine. He treats both Kitty and Pete brutally because of how he believes that Pete was responsible for the death of his wife. After Pete and Kitty leave, Harold runs up a psychological profile on the killer, and is able to reach him before Kitty and Pete do. When Kitty and Pete come, instead of firing at the killer, he starts getting on Pete's case again (after Pete tries to get his father out of the fray) and loses his arm when the killer touches him. Kitty leaves Harold speechless when she tells him that the last time Pete's mom and Pete faught, they were fighting over what Pete's mom told him: " . . .that she never loved you and never wanted him. . ." Eventually, the killer escapes, and is killed (or was he?) by a train. Harold and Pete goe in seperate ways without really saying anything to one another, and then Romany takes Harold to the hospital. This is the last time we see Harold in any comic.

What I See For Him in the Future: It would be nice to see Harold and Pete cross paths again. I am really not sure how he could appear in X-Force (though, it would be nice) . Maybe, there could be a story about Pete's early history. A story that would let us see why he joined British Intel, and his early family life...maybe even the day when his mother died.
