Treatment of Kitty: Ross: Nice to Kitty because Kitty helped her free the rest of Excalibur (who were taken in Arcade's clutches)/Sat-yr-9: Was nice to Kitty, and helped her at times (took her in when Excalibur was lost in the time stream.) She even gave Kitty a Jag for her 16th (NO ONE CAN HAVE TWO 15th B-DAY!) birthday. She betrayed Kitty in Excalibur 55-56.
History: Ross: One-time girl friend of Captain Britian, she was kidnapped by the Crazy Gang (who were working for Arcade) and brought to Strangeways. Excalibur found out about her kidnapping by bills that depicted Courtney in torture devices, and the word "Strangeways." When Excalibur got to Strangeways, they faught the Crazy Gang, who were able to switch bodies with Excalibur, except for Kitty who was able to get away. Courtney, who was able to get away, found Kitty, and the pair were able to save Excalibur, with Courtney using the displacement device to place everyone in their correct body. After the battle, Courtney returned home, and soon after that, she was to go on a date with Brian...but it never turned out that way. Before she could leave, she met with Sat-yr-9 who brutally killed her, and then dressed in her clothing, and took her place. Sat-yr-9: Before she had murdered her duplicate, she had been in prison, and was able to escape when someone entered her cell through a dimensional interface. She killed him, took his equipment, and came to Earth 616. In this dimension, she traced the version of herself, found her, killed her, and took "Courtney Ross" as a guise. She fell into good graces with Brian and Kitty. With Kitty, she mothered her, and was there for her when Excalibur was not. She even had Kitty enroll in the boarding school that Courtney Ross had enrolled in years before. As Courtney Ross, Sat-yr-9 used the money to get herself power, including, finding Jamie Braddock, who she used to turn Nigel Frobisher, an employee of Fraser's bank, ". . .into a Vixen lookalike, who was then used to infiltrate the Vixen's criminal network, and acquire a ready-made army" At a party at Braddock Manor, Sat-yr-9 had Jamie kill Alysdane Stewart and then Sat-yr-9 started taking hostages, and released the truth. She was not Courtney Ross, but rather, the sadistic Sat-yr-9. Kitty was able to elude being caught (like she usually does). She infiltrated the ranks of Sat-yr-9's military force that was at the mansion, and eventually shot Sat-yr-9 with a knockout gun. Both Sat-yr-9 were able to get away when officers of Sat-yr-9's military brought them both into a hovercopter
What I See For Her in the Future: Honestly, I do not know what they could do with her now. She has a problem with Brian, so there is no reason why she would resurface in X-Men or Excalibur. Maybe she could appear in some sort of one-shot
