Favorite Quote: Golly, there are so many. This one is a bit compound. It's Pete and Kitty: I get the impression we're no longer popular. Don't jump to conclusions. For all I know it was a present from another of your weird friends. My weird friends? Look who's bleedin' talking... Besides, most of my friends are dead.

From Which Issue?: Pryde and Wisdom 1

Do You Have a Website?: Yeah, I'm the webmistress for this one. :)

What Makes Pete so Great in Your Mind?: I just really love his character. He's really interesting, has a wonderful wit, and is rounded. I also think he's hot (You don't?) and he has wonderful taste in clothing. Chicks dig the trench coats.

Should Kitty and Pete Get Back Together?: Oh hell yeah!! They are one of the greatest couples in all of Marvel History. Up there with Jean and Scott.

What is Your All-Time Favorite Pete Moment?: Well, being how I just read the Pryde and Wisdom series, it is from that...though, when I read other books, it could change. *L* I really love the scene from Pryde and Wisdom 2 where Kitty and Pete are sitting on a couch, they start kissing, then the couch falls over, and they continue kissing. The icing on the cake is when Romany walks into the room and finds them this way. It's great.

Are You a Member of Any other Comic-Oriented Club?: Hrm...not really. I mean, I'm a member of Dora's Kitty Pryde mailing list, I'm a member of a Yahoo! Longshot and Pete club (where the membership is just me and the one who made it). Oh, I rp at the Marvel Universe on IMC....it isn't a club, but it's close enough. *S* There, I rp Kitty Pryde. (*L* couldn't figure that out, right?))

What Do You Think of Pete in X-Force?: I like him, I really do, but I think they could be doing more with him (like, for instance, having him fight with the team). I do not really see Pete as a leader-type (which he ain't, as demonstrated by what Sam says in X-Force 103). I honestly think Pete should drop by the X-Men (which probably wouldn't work *L*) or maybe Kitty could join X-Force (but I do not think that would do). I also do not really like Pete with the cane (though, I have a feeling it is not real either). I think it might be what Mr. Steed had with his umbrella, there is a sword hidden inside of it.

If Pete Was To Make a Cameo in the Next X-Men, Who Should Play Him?: After talking to some people, I agree with them, it should be Rupert Everett (as seen on my Pete Misc Pic page.

Favorite Quote: Kitty and Pete: What are you doing with that gun? Hitting people with it. Look, I never claimed to be a role model, all right?

From Which Issue?: Pryde and Wisdom 2

Do You Have a Website?: A Glimpse of Pryde

What Makes Pete so Great in Your Mind?: Peter Wisdom is one of the few breaths of fresh air to infiltrate the Incestuous Angst Pit of the X-teams. He still fights for the Dream (capital D, of course), albeit a more realistic version of it, but is the embodiment of real life, of everything that can go wrong. He's a shining example that people can & do change, & that you don't have to apply spray paint & a bad codename to yourself in order to believe in what's right.

Should Kitty and Pete Get Back Together?: Oh hell yes. ::snickers:: Only in a perfect world, where Claremont isn't writing, Kitty isn't in the X-Men, & Pete isn't making it seem like he's sleeping with Meltdown. I would've said absolutely a couple of months before Claremont's revolution & Ellis' Counter X, but changes since then have been far too drastic to make it feel right any longer. Nonetheless, if it isn't Kitty, I'd prefer Pete stay single, & if it isn't Pete, I prefer that Kitty avoid all Russians.

What is Your All-Time Favorite Pete Moment?: Likely when he took down the Tin Russian during the big Pete v. Pete confrontation. His concern about Kitty before himself was just awww-inspiring.

Are You a Member of Any other Comic-Oriented Club?: Official ones? The Peter Wisdom Rehabilitation Brigade & several online mailing lists, but to date that's it.

What Do You Think of Pete in X-Force?: I'm not very impressed with the idea. Sure, it's nice to see him again (very, very nice, even if Portacio can't draw him), but I'd much prefer that he stay out of the States. It's oddly uncomfortable to have Pete out of the UK. Sure, Ellis is writing him up to par (big surprise there), but it just doesn't have the same feel as in Excalibur.

If Pete Was To Make a Cameo in the Next X-Men, Who Should Play Him?: Who should play Pete? - Rupert Everett, who else? And I can send several pics, if you'd like. *G*

Favorite Quote: Pete: Don't even think about it, mate. Even if she was interested -- and she's ten years younger than you, so why would she be? -- it's safer on your own. No one else gets hurt.

From Which Issue?: Excalibur 89; Dream Nails 2, page 30

Do You Have a Website?: Touch of Wisdom Warning - It's in a "under construction" phase at the moment. I took out two major sections and I'm replacing them. So don't expect to be amazed for a good two months at th' thing.

What Makes Pete so Great in Your Mind?: You either Love or Hate Pete Wisdom. There is no two ways about it. Pete Wisdom represents a taste of reality in the superhero world of Marvel. While the other characters are always either gloomy or just plain out right cardboard men that say one-liners when it suits them, Wisdom brought a whole new different flavor to the comics. The people who hate him, hate our little Englishman for the fact that they believe he is a clone. After all, when you look at him you are reminded of other mutants in the gallery of characters. But by far, Wisdom is not like any of those. Wisdom is a whole new darker element. A element that can cause chaos. And that's what they hate. They hate it for it isn't what they've had forced down their pie-hole for years.

Should Kitty and Pete Get Back Together?: Now, the Pete side of me screams "yes." But how I see Pete, is the Ellis masterpiece of the character. However, Marvel has dropped him into the angst oven and cranked it up to 400 eons ago. So right about now he's nice and crispy. Now, that insane sod Claremont has Kit in his fingertips. Ben Raab took away most of her mannerisms and made her into a knock-off teen spirit. Then Alan Davis crushed her into a little ball of cheerful discomfort. Now Claremont has taken her back two decades in personality. That's just Kit. They threw Wisdom into the jungles of Genosha, threw a patch on him, gave him a boot to the arse, and had him babysitting X-Force. These aren't the Pete Wisdom and Kitty Pryde we knew from their Mini-series. These are Marvel Stapled Grade A pods. Unless Warren Ellis came in and spent at least six months redoing all the wacked out mindjobs that's been done to these two... I see no reason at all for Pete and Kit to get back together. These just aren't the same people anymore.

What is Your All-Time Favorite Pete Moment?: His first appearance. No other comic character in the Marvel Universe ever had such a intriguing and emotional introduction than our gobby brit. His name is Pete Wisdom. He is a mutant. He just decided to quit British Intelligence. And he is crying because he knows he should have done it long before he everyone in Ronsaphan.

Are You a Member of Any other Comic-Oriented Club?: I wasn't ever drafted. Nope.

What Do You Think of Pete in X-Force?: Food for thought. I've been pondering about the whole reason why Pete was in X-Force. Now, of course, it's welcomed. And when Ellis got on board, he took the ball and rolled with it. As we all knew he would. However, was placing Pete in X-Force just a cherry on top to get Ellis to redo all the counter X-Books? And why, if I might dare to find logic in all of this, did they feel he needed to be wearing a patch? Food for thought. Don't eat too much.

If Pete Was To Make a Cameo in the Next X-Men, Who Should Play Him?: Rupert Everett. It's clear that when Terry Dodson drew Wisdom in the Pryde & Wisdom series; he was using Rupert as a base. His hair down to his face suits Wisdom perfectly and that's the only man I would want in the position of Wisdom. Now for a movie? Kit is just a little girl. I also agree with Josie Maran as the Excalibur 19 year old Pryde. Many buckets of drool has come of her, yes. Anyhow. Back to Wisdom. Rupert is the role. 'nuff said. But Rupert is rather old for a little girl, which Kit is in the movie series. So we'd have to go to someone younger. I'm leaning on someone who has already played as an angsty assassin. John Cusack. Sure, he'd have to learn the accent and get contacts. But if the movies have to have Pete Wisdom in there, he might as well be Cusack to balance out the Kit.

Favorite Quote: Sadly, I can't think of one single quote. And I don't have any comics with me to look one up.

From Which Issue?: N/A

Do You Have a Website?: Flying Away. Yet, if you want to see her Pete x Kitty section, click here.

What Makes Pete so Great in Your Mind?: He doesn't wear spandex. He fights for what he believes in, but doesn't blindly follow an ideal like most of the X-Men do. That and his sunny personality.

Should Kitty and Pete Get Back Together?: YES! Well if he wasn't dead, and Kitty wasn't regressing to her Pre-Excalibur personality...

What is Your All-Time Favorite Pete Moment?:Hm. I don't have all the issues he's in, or the Pryde And Widsom series, so as of now, I like the scene in Excalibur # 91 when Moira asks Pete and Kitty about their relationship. Oh yeah, the time he imitated Prof. X was pretty funny too. ^_^

Are You a Member of Any other Comic-Oriented Club?: Nope. I'm only active in the online anime fandom

What Do You Think of Pete in X-Force?: well it was cool to see him again but then he kinda got killed while in that book...

If Pete Was To Make a Cameo in the Next X-Men, Who Should Play Him?: I have no idea.
