Age She Found Comic Books: 11

Idols/Heroes: My idol when I was growing up was Kitty Pryde. Why, you ask? Well, for one, she was close to my age (in the books that I first read...UXM 129+) and was going through similar stuff that I was going through. It was nice to see someone that I could relate with. Another reason was she was just plain cool. I loved her costumes (even the majorly weird ones). My first encounter with Ms. Pryde was with her card from the 1992 Marvel Universe 2 set. I saw her card and I instantly felt a kinship with the char (sorta like love a first sight. *L*). So after that, I threw myself into comics. One summer I read X-Men 110-310; another summer I read Excalibur 1-60 something (because that was all that was out); yet another summer I read New Mutants 1-100; and finally, another summer I read X-Factor 1-100. I -loved- all of the characters and the storylines.

Mutant Ability: Okay, I do have one (well, three *s* but two are physical stuff). I'm a lefty (like only 10% of the world's population is such) and I have green eyes. As for the third one, I have a luck factor. I have entered so many contests and have actually won more than once. I won the "Last Marvel Age Contest" where I won an original sketch of Doctor Doom 2099 by the Hildebrants; I won the Generation X Movie contest (they actually jipped me on this one; they didn't send me what I REALLY wanted which was a picture of the cast); I won a few posters from the "Lunch of a Lifetime" contest where the first 10,000 entries would get posters; I have won three or four times with the Wizard Scavenger Hunt (at like sixth or seventh level; not the top). Besides comic related contests, I have also won through radio stations. I once won two tickets to Lilth Faire; I once won a cd three pack of Sheryl Crow; I won passes to the Meet Joe Black premiere; I won tickets to an Oldie's concert. Finally, neither comic book nor radio station related, I won tickets to the Premiere of the David Duchovny movie Playing God.

Years Have Been Collecting Comics: Eight

Years Have Been Roleplaying Online: Four (I have been rping Kitty Pryde in the MU on IMC for two years and five months now. *S*)

Other fun facts: For my 13th birthday I got a little purple stuffed dragon (spittin image of Lockheed I tell ya *S*). I own over 500 comic books (most X-Books). My dad was once a comic book store owner. *S* And my parents names are Doug and Katherine (weird, huh? *L*)
