Why the Name

In Pryde and Wisdom One, after people tried to kill Pete and Kitty, Pete makes the offhanded comment you see on the right. I personally think it's a great name, and is really perfect for a club. So that is where the name comes from

Why the Club?

It has come to my attention that there really are no clubs dedicated to Wisdom. So here is a club that has a cool page and is somewhat organized. So there. Heh.

Why are Members Given the Designation "00"?

Because I like making fun of the whole "Pete Wisdom is like James Bond but not" thing. In James Bond myth, the designation "00" means "license to kill," which we all know that Pete is surely is. Also, Pete was Secret Service, MI6 (the espionage branch. MI5 is the home branch) LIKE Bond. So even if Pete thinks he's not like Bond (except for the fact taht all the beautiful women wanted to sleep with him...riiight) he still sorta is.

Mission of Club

To support the cigerette smoking-whiskey guzzling (even for breakfast)-grizzly-eyepatch (cause the chicks dig it) wearing-English limey who favors wearing a suit (over tights)AT ALL COSTS. You must bare witness to that Pete Wisdom is a God, and his creators (Warren Ellis and Ken Lashley) are visionaries.
