- Here are 10 new screen shots of Sega's Virtua Fighter 4 for
PlayStation 2, the PS2 version will have additional fighting locations not found in the
Naomi 2 arcade version. Virtua Fighter 4 for PS2 is scheduled for release in Japan on
January 31, for 6800 yen.

- Here are 38 new screen shots of Sony's Gran Turismo Concepts 2001 Tokyo,
scheduled to release in Japan on January 1, 2002. This game will include over 10 race
courses and over 80 car models, including a new collection of JGTC (Touring Car) vehicles
and additional concept cars, such as Suzuki's GSX-R/4 and Honda's CZ3 Tarmac.

- Konami will release a new PlayStaton 2 tennis sports game in February 2002 called
The Prince of Tennis, the game is based on the hit manga / anime
series of the same name, featuring character and scenes from the series and an original
storyline.

- Konami will release Mini Moni for PSone in Japan in February 2002, a
collection of mini game featuring the popular Japanese pop team Morning Musume, all the
character will be in cartoon style, and there will be over 30 mini games, just like Mario
Party.

- Arika announced the development of Everblue 2 for PS2, the sequel of
their deep sea treasure hunting adventure.

- Here are some new screens of Spike's GameBoy Advance wrestling game Final
Fire Pro Wrestling, scheduled for a March 2002 release in Japan. This game will
feature 4 play modes: Dojo Mode (practice), Edit Mode (custom characters), One Night Match
(tag team battle), and Management of Ring (management simulation). In One Night Match
battles, new challengers may suddenly come in to challenge you randomly. The Management of
Ring is a brand new simulation mode in which you play as the manager, your goal is to
create your own wrestling team.

- Bandai will release Gundam side scrolling action game for WonderSwan Color called SD
Gundam Operation U.C., scheduled for a February 16 release in Japan, for 3980
yen. In this game you can take control of Gundam, Z-Gundam and Gundam ZZ, each character
will have separate episodes and scenes. There are both ground stages and space stages, the
ground stages have diagonal view, while in space stages you can enjoy speedier combat and
free movement.

- The Dengeki Console Ranking Top 50 Chart is updated,
this week's top selling game is Capcom / Bandai's Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs Zion
DX, sold over 394,000 units; Konami's Metal Gear Solid 2 dropped back to 2nd, with a total
sales of 560,000+ units; Enix's Dragon Quest IV Remake remains strong at 3rd, with over
840,000 units sold; Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. DX has also passed the 500,000 mark,
making it the best selling GameCube title to date.
- After Sony and NTT's announcement of the broadband network for PlayStation 2 few days
ago, Square's stock price has raise for 3 consecutive days, because the Sony's broadband
network will help Square to expand their PlayOnline user base, and potentially increase
the number of subscribers to Square's online game Final Fantasy XI.

- Here are some new screens of Sega's XBox celshaded action game Jet Set Radio
Future, the game is scheduled for release in Japan on February 22, as an XBox
launch title.
