- Sega's GameCube port of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle will feature
various mini games and new stages. A new stage called the High Speed Action Race is added
to the game. A number of mini games are added, including Wagon Race and Chao
Karate, in which you can use your pet Chaos to battle in karate tournaments.
There is also a versus battle mode, in which you can play as 6 new characters exclusive in
this mode, the characters are Metal Sonic, Amy, Tical, Chao Walker (Chao in a robot), Dark
Walker (Dark Chao in a robot), and Chaos Zero.

- Bandai has confirmed the release date of their PlayStation RPG Inu-Yasha,
the game is scheduled for release on December 20, for 5800 yen. A reservation campaigns is
announced for this title, you can receive a specially made Inu-Yasha Pocket Book, which
contains collector's cards and a card folder. You also have a chance to receive 1 of the
100 "Jade of the Four Souls", by sending in a password from the game. The
password can be obtained when you collected all fragments of the Jade of the Four Souls in
the game.
- Taito will release Jet de Go! 2 for PlayStation 2 in Japan in spring
of 2002, the 2nd installment of their airplane simulation game, in which you play as a
pilot to control the JAL (Japan Air Lines) planes to fly back and forth between various
cities. There are 4 game modes: Scenario Mode, Lesson Mode, Freak Loose Mode and Extra
Mode. This game will have all the different jet models in the JAL lines, each model will
have a different front control panel, you can choose to operate the jet in 3 operating
modes: Automatic (beginner), manual and professional. During the flight, you can switch
between top view, pit view and jet view.

- Asmik Ace Entertainment will release Sidewinder F for PlayStation 2
in Japan on December 13, for 6800 yen. The latest installment of their flight action game.
This time the game will support the Logicool's new USB force feedback flight controller Flight
Force, which is compatible for both PS2 and PC. A limited edition of Sidewinder F
+ Flight Force package will retail on the same date for 12800 yen.

- Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) reported that during the launch week (November 18 -
24) of both Microsoft XBox and Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo has sold approximate 469,000
units of GameCube, not the 700,000 units Nintendo stated. Microsoft on the other hand has
sold 186,000 units of XBox, and a total of 556,000 units were shipped to retailers in the
week.
- CSFB stated that the over 810,000 software units for PlayStation 2 were sold in the
period of November 18 - 24, 83% higher than previous weeks. Nintendo's most popular
GameCube title is Luigi Mansion, which has sold over 257,000 units. Microsoft's best
selling title is Halo, sold 97,000 units.
- For the software to hardware sales ratio, XBox is taking the lead with a ratio of 2.4
(2.4 units of software per system sold), while GameCube and PlayStation 2 following with a
