- Sega of Japan announced that they will be shipping out the last shipment of Dreamcast
on December 7, 20,000 units will be shipping oversea, and the remaining will be
distributed in Japan. The Dreamcast retails for 9900 yen in Japan.
- Sega's D-Direct online store will be selling a new Dreamcast wrist watch
on March 7, 2002, for 9900 yen, the same price of the Dreamcast console. The watch is made
with brass, and it looks like a shrunk down version of the Dreamcast console, the front
cover can be opened.

- Square's president and CEO Hisashi Suzuki will be resigning from his position,
effective on December 1. Youichi Wada, the COO of Square (chief operating officer) will be
replace Suzuki for the CEO position, and Suzuki will remain as the chairman. The decision
is made due to the massive losses of 13.28 billion yen, due to failure in the movie
business.
