- The Console Charts and Game Previews are updated.
- Square announced that additional Final Fantasy and Disney characters will be included
Kingdom Hearts for PlayStation 2. For the Square side, in addition to Tidus, Wakka,
Sephie, Cid, Moogle and Chocobo; Squall from FF8 and Yuffie
from FF7 will join the team as well. For the Disney side, characters from Chipmunk,
Alice in Wonderland and Hercules will be included in the
game as well. Other than enemies from Heartless, you will be facing theme oriented enemies
in each area as well, such as Trump Soldiers. There is also a "Gummy Ship" in
the game, similar to the airship in Final Fantasy, which can take you to different parts

- The Dengeki Console Ranking Top 50 Chart is updated.
The Japanese market is pretty quiet this week, the best seller is Konami's PS2 baseball
game Professional Baseball Japan 2001, followed by Capcom's Gun Survivor 2: Biohazard Code
Veronica and Sammy's King of the Beast DX. Nintendo's Pikmin has dropped back to #5.
- Konami will release Hyper Sports 2002 Winter for multiple platforms
in Japan this winter, including PlayStation 2, XBox, GameCube and GameBoy Advance. The
game will feature 10 sports events such as speed skating.
- Banpresto announced that they are developing the latest installment of the popular Super
Robot Taisen series for PSone, this time the game will include characters from the
Nadesico.
- Spike will release Final Fire Pro Wrestling for GameBoy Advance in
March 2002, the latest installment of the Fire Pro Wrestling series. This time there are 4
play modes: Management of Ring (a management simulation game), One Night Match (battle
mode), Dojo Mode (practice) and Edit Mode (create your own wrestler).
- Sammy will release a PC port of the popular arcade weapon fighting game Guilty
Gear X in Japan on November 30, for 7800 yen. The PC version will be based on the
Naomi arcade version, the two extra characters in the PS2 version will not present in the
game. However, the PC version will have a new replay function, as well as PC accessories
like Guilty Gear X screen saver and wallpaper, plus six bonus 158mm x 110mm photos. Guilty
Gear X for PC will run on Windows 95, 98, Me and XP, a Celeron 450 Mhz or higher processor
and AGP 3D graphic card is required. A 33MB playable demo can be found in here.

- It seems like the popular PlayStation emulation developer Bleem! has
shut down the business, a picture of the grave and a crying Sonic can be found in the main page of the Bleem!
