- Here is a picture of Moogle in Square / Disney's PlayStation 2 RPG Kingdom
Hearts. Moogle is a mysterious creature in the Final Fantasy universe, this time
Moogle will have a big red nose in its face, and a red "ball" attached on its
head, its favorite food is a type of plant in the forest. In the game it will work in
various item shops, selling items and weapon to Sora (the main character in the game). In
the game you can also find most of the Final Fantasy characters in a place called Traverse
Town.

- Here are some new images of Enix's upcoming PSone RPG remake Dragon Quest IV,
the game is scheduled for release in Japan on November 22, for 6800 yen. This game
features a large number of mini games, including the popular Casino and Monster Arena. In
the Casino you can enjoy playing different casino games such as slot machine and poker,
and you can exchange the money with valuable items. The Monster Arena is also located in
the Casino, you can battle different monsters in the game, and even bet for the outcome of
the battles. The PlayStation remake of DQIV also has a new battle statistics screen, which
records the number of battles, monsters you encountered; the amount of money you received;
the number of winning, losing and retreating battles; and the highest hit in an attack. As
you proceed the game, you will receive different titles, such as merchant, warrior and
fighter. There are a total of 150 titles in the game.

- ASCII will release Forbidden Pet: Seaman - Crazy Doctor's Experimental Island
for PlayStation 2 in Japan on November 15, for 8800 yen. A sequel to Dreamcast's popular
voice controlled virtual pet simulation game. In the PS2 version, the Seaman can evolve
into a new lizard form, it can live in both water and land. There is also a new bug
catching mode, for you to catch different kinds of bugs and insects as the food of your
pet. And the weird thing is that almost all the bugs you can catch in your backyard are
with human faces just like Seaman! During the game, Seaman will be able to say 4 times as
many phrases than the Dreamcast version.

- Microsoft has confirmed that the XBox will not include the progressive-scan function
in its DVD movie playback function. A newer technology for HDTVs, to allow cleaner picture
quality by showing one frame of video in a single pass, instead of double pass in regular
interlaced decoding method.

- Banpresto will release Super Robot Taisen Compact for WonderSwan Color
in Japan on December 13, for 4800 yen. An enhanced version of the original Super Robot
Taisen Compact for the monochrome WonderSwan. This game features 3 game systems: Free
Order System, Personal Data Table and Skill Coordinate. Free Order System allows you to
freely choose the chapters you want to play, except the beginning and ending chapters.
Skill Coordinate allows you to transfer the special skills you learned from one mech to
another, and create a unique and powerful character.

- Media Ring will release a remake to Game Arts' classic RPG Lunar the Silver Story for
GameBoy Advance, called Lunar Legends, scheduled to release in Japan in
February 2002, currently 70% completed. The remake version will have new monsters and new
layout to the some of the towns and dungeons. The characters will also have new facial
animation to make up for the absence of animated cutscenes. There is also a new Arts Gauge
system in the game, where your character can execute new skills when the gauge is filled
