- GameArts has released new info on their PS2 RPG Grandia Xtreme, scheduled
to release in Japan on January 31, 2002. The game takes place in a sword and sorcery world, with
modern machinery such as tanks
and battle planes. This time the story takes place in a chaotic world, where spirits have gone wild, raging
and rampaging around the towns and villages, harming the lives of people. People considered
this as a natural disaster. After years of investigation, people found out the cause of
the unnatural behavior of the spirits were caused by the stolen tablets in the 4 ruins of
spirits. A half real-time Ultimate Action Battle System is used in the
game, there is also a new Synchro Flash System, which allows all the
character in the team to perform synchronized attacks....

- Enix has released new screen shots of their PlayStation 2 RPG Star Ocean 3:
Till The End of Time. This time the game will have a stronger science fiction
look and feel, as some stages will take place in space ships and in the space. The
graphics will be in full 3D, you can freely rotate the field screen 360 degrees. Up to 3
characters can participate in battles. Each weapon will have a definite range, the range
of your weapon will be displayed in the battle screen.

- Nintendo of Japan announced that they will release two new colors for GameBoy Advance on November 21,
they are Spice Orange and Jet Black, matching with the new Spice Orange and Jet Black version GameCube, which are also
set for a simultaneous release, along with Nintendo's first GBA GameCube linking game Animal Forest Plus.
 
- Nintendo announced that they are developing a series of game titles for the GameBoy Advance
e-Card Reader, including Mario Party Card-E and Game & Watch Card-E series.
The e-Card Reader will due out in Japan on December 1, a device which can reads
a new type of collector's card with embedded data, each e-Card can hold mini-games, music and even
mini-movies. Both Mario Party and Game & Watch Card-E will contain mini games found in both
titles / series.
