- Konami will release the PlayStation 2 version of The Keisatsukan: Shinjuki 24
Hours (Police 911) in Japan on November 15, for 6800 yen. A motion capture device
called Capture Eye and a new motion sensing controller will be release at the same time.
Capture Eye is a webcam type of device which can be placed on top of the TV set. The
home version will also have 3 new game modes not found in arcade: Training Mode, Kamikaze
Rush and The Balloon....

- Square announced that they are planning to develop a new Final Fantasy series which
will be based on the upcoming anime cartoon series Final Fantasy Unlimited.
Akitoshi Kawazu will be directly the game. The story of Final Fantasy Unlimited takes
place in Japan, one day a wormhole show up near the ocean and a summon beast Blademon
escaped into the human world, the scientist Hayakawa, his wife Mari and two daughters Ai
and Yuu advent into the fantasy world of summon beast and meet two mysterious characters
in the fantasy world, Risa and Fon.
  
- Here are some new screen shots of Square's PlayOnline Beta CD
package, Final Fantasy XI, Tetra Master and PlayOnline functionality.

- Atari is back! Infogrames announced that they will release two new PlayStation 2
titles: Splashdown and MX Rider under the Atari brand.

- Microsoft revealed new details on their Japanese XBox game titles. First is the 3D
fighting game Project K-X, which is officially renamed to Kakuto Chojin,
developed by Dream Publishing. The game features 5 playable characters such as Ninja,
Kungfu star, wrestler and a sexy female. Second game is a 3D action game Nezumi
Kusu (Rat Camphor), in this game you play as the little mouse Apollo, to solve
puzzles and defeat the enemies in each stage.

- Next is a new horse racing promotion simulation RPG game named Jockey's Road,
developed by Microsoft of Japan. Your goal is to become the first class jockey. The game
will feature over 3000 horses. Microsoft has also revealed screen shots of Bizarre
Creation's XBox racing game Project Gotham: World Street Racer, the game
will have as many as 150 circuits from different world cities like London, New York, San
Francisco and Tokyo.

- Maximum Chase is Microsoft's new XBox car chasing combat game, in
which you must chase the enemy cars in each stage until its physical strength gauge
disappears. There will be a lot of movie-like events in the game. There are also shooting
stages, where you must shoot down the enemy car with a blow from your weapon.

- Square announced that they are closing down the Square movie business, due to the
massive cost and lower than expected performance on their first CG movie Final Fantasy The
Spirits Within.
