- Sega announced Super Monkey Ball 2 for
GameCube, the sequel to the GameCube launch puzzle game. This time there will be 150
stages, plus enhanced multiplayer stages. The game is scheduled for a fall release.

- Namco has released some new info on their PlayStation 2 online RPG Project
Venus, the story takes place 100 years after the story of Seven: Lacemorse's
Cavalry Corps, the rotation battle system will be returning to the game, some characters
will have the ability use summon spells. In this game, when a character dies, he / she
will be permanently removed from the game, companion's replacement is indispensable.
- Banpresto announced a new PlayStation 2 action adventure game called Lupin
the 3rd: Legacy of the Gramary King, the game is scheduled for release in Japan
this summer.
- Square has released new info on their PS2 online RPG Final
Fantasy XI. There are a large number of NPCs (non-player characters) in the
game, include Lion, Claidie, Pieuje, Trion, Deidogg, Gumbar and so on. There is a 4th
country in the world of Vana'diel, called The Grand Duchy of Jueno, it is a neutral
country located in-between The Kingdom of San D'oria and The Republic of Bastok. You
cannot create a new character in this location. When you create a character, you can
customize the facial feature and hair style, there are 16 different combinations for each
character of a specific tribe and sex. Furthermore, during the game you can purchase
different costumes to dress up your character, so you will not see a bunch of clones
walking on the street like in the beta version.

- Capcom announced a GameBoy Advance remake of the classic action game Super
Ghouls n' Ghosts-R, the game is ported over from the SNES version, the GBA remake
version will feature both the Original version and the new Arranged version. This game
also features stages from Ghouls n' Ghosts, which can be unlocked under a certain
condition. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts R is scheduled for release in Japan on July 19,
for 4800 yen.

- Sega announced the release date of Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller for
Xbox, the game is scheduled for a July 25 release in Japan, for 6800 yen.
