updated. Square's Kingdom Hearts has jumped back to the first place, the game has sold
another 58,000+ units, with a total reaching 582,000+ units. The second place is held by
Armored Core 3 and the third place is held by From TV Animation: One Piece Grand Battle 2.

- Capcom has released official details on their next GameCube horror adventure game Biohazard 0, scheduled for release in Japan
between summer and fall. In this game you can play as Rebecca from the special
investigation force S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, who rushes into the Raccoon City to investigate
the mystery homicide case. The S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team commander Enrico Marini instructed
the members to chase after a former marine member Billy Cohen, who has escaped from the
convoy car. In Biohazard 0, a new zapping system is included in the game, allowing you to
zap (switch) the two main characters in real time. As a result, one character can hand
over items to another. The two characters can also cooperate, the crisis situations can be

- Sting has officially announced their GameCube RPG Evolutia:
The World of Sacred Machine. The game combine both Evolution and Evolution 2
into a single game. In this game you use weapon excavated from ruins of the prehistoric
civilization. There are two types of dungeons in the game, one type has fixed internal
structure, another type is the widely used randomly generated dungeons.

- Konami announced a new PlayStation 2 RPG called GetBackers: The Stolen City
of Infinite. This is a 3D dungeons adventure type RPG, the story is based on the
popular anime GetBackers. The dungeons in the city are randomly generated, a new Comb
Interactive battle system is used in the game, which allows you to mix attacks of the two
main characters to create new kinds of combo attack and special attacks. GetBackers: The
Stolen City of Infinite is scheduled for release in June.

- Polyphony Digital is working on another new Gran Turismo Concept title for
PlayStation 2 called Gran Turismo Concept Geneva, this version will
feature a new series of concept cars at the Geneva Auto Show, including Ford Mondeno GT
Concept, Opel Astra Coupe Concept and so on. The game is scheduled for release in Japan in
July.
- Tecmo of Japan has announced Rygar: The Legendary Adventure for
PlayStation 2, a new sequel to the classic NES Greek mythology action adventure game.
X B O X
- Ubi Soft announced Tom Clancy: Splinter Cell
for XBox and PC, a third person stealth action game based on the popular Tom Clancy
series. An action shooter in which you play as the agent of National Security Agency to
battle with the cyber terrorism. The game is scheduled for release for XBox and PC this
fall, followed with the next generation platforms in 2003.

- Microsoft has officially announced an XBox price drop in Europe and Australia, the
retail price of the system has reduced by more than 38% from 470 euros (~$420 US) to 299
euros (~$260 US) in Europe; and AU$399 (~$215 US) in Australia. The price cut is to remain
competitive with the GameCube launch in these areas on May 17, the GameCube will retail
for AU$399 as well.
