- Capcom has officially announced Capcom Vs SNK 2 EO
(Easy Operation) for GameCube, the game is ported over from the Naomi arcade version,
featuring both the new Easy Operation Mode named GC-ISM and the
normal Arcade Mode named AC-ISM. The GC-ISM allows you to use
the analog C-Stick as a shortcut to execute special attacks, you can simply tilting the
C-Stick to different directions to execute special attacks, including Super Combos. The
strength of the special attack can be determined by the strength (angle) of the tilt.
The game is scheduled for release in Japan in July.....

- Konami announced the official release date of their PlayStation 2 RPG Genso
Suikoden III, the game is scheduled for a July 11 release in Japan, for 6800 yen.
The story of Suikoden III takes place 15 years after Suikoden II.
- RUMOR: After the annoucement of KOF2000 for Dreamcast, SNK Neo-Geo is planning to
port both of their MVS arcade games Metal Slug 4 and The King of Fighters
2001 to PlayStation 2, both games are scheduled for release by the end of the year in
Japan.
- Sony's Japanese website PlayStation.Com is beginning to accept reservation for
Square's upcoming PS2 online RPG Final Fantasy XI, the game will be
retail for 7800 yen. To play the game, you are required to have a PlayStation BB
(Broadband) Unit or PS2 HDD, and a working Internet connection. The monthly fee for the
game is 1280 yen, with the first month free of charge. An optional USB Keyboard is
available for sale for 3500 yen.
