The Swinhoe's Pheasant is also one of the species
in the gallopheasants recognized.
Other pheasants in the gallopheasant categories include
the Salvadori's, the Imperial, the Edwards, the Kalij, the Silver,
the Siamese Fireback, the Crestless Fireback, the Crested Fireback,
and the Wattled Pheasant.
First eggs from the Swinhoe's Pheasants can be expected
round about mid March.
