The Golden Pheasant is one of the two species in the
ruffed pheasants recognized, the other being the very similar
Lady Amherst.
Other names for the Golden Pheasants are Painted Pheasant,
Faisan Dore (French), Kin-ky or Ching Chi (Chinese) and Goldfasan
(German).
First eggs can be expected round about end March.
