This winding, dirty, dusty, mountain road used to go somewhere! Now it goes no where except right back to the end of itself at the base of Skylight Mountain in the Zocalo. Before the gods sealed off the right to enter, the road led itself to the realm of Alphen where the Red Dragon Inn stood and was the only way through the Skylight Mountain. The realm was much like that of the Zocalo except it had the inn. While very popular, the realm was plagued by childness, greed, ignorance, and much more evils so the gods simply sealed it off. Never again will people know what was there and the many who used to frequent there do not blame the gods for making such a decision! The best thing about this road is the halfway point before it heads back down to the Zocalo grassy knoll are the hot springs resting high on the mountain. These have a wonderful way of helping injured, stressed, or sore visitors to the realm. The bubbling waters are fresh to drink, much like the water in the lake and river.
