Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert
Then there was the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. I've already said what is to say about the concert, I think, but I guess you have realised by now that I can talk forever :-) Oh, I can mention that he said in a radio interview once that he sang the song "Somebody to love" like he did in front of the mirror as a 12 year old. And when I heard that I thought to myself, "Well, honey, then I guess you had one hell of a voice as a 12 year old...!" Speaking of voice sa a kid, when he was young he used to get up early to collect insects and other strange creatures, and while he was walking about in his pyjamas he was singing. Their neighbour once told his mother that "George has a beautiful voice"... and that was in primary school! No wonder he's got a great voice now - he sure did start early!
I have to mention something else too, and it
has nothing to do with George, but the concert.
For those of you who haven't seen/heard it: Can you imagine Elton
John and Axl Rose singing together?
Guess which Queen song... It's really crazy...
Imagine the two of them singing "Bohemian
Rhapsody"! Only one word: c-r-a-z-y!
