Elton John
Speaking of Elon John. They have done a few duets with him, and the ones I know of is: "Don't let the sun go down on me" (duet), George has done the song alone too with Elton playing the piano. And they've done "Wrap her up", "Candle In The Wind", "Nikita"... George has done a few covers too, i.e. "Tonight".They are pals now, and it started when George won the Ivor Novello award - he was the youngest ever to receive it. This was written in the "Daily Mirror":
"George Michael of Wham! broke down and wept last night when Elton John presented him with an Ivor Novello award and called him "the best songwriter of his generation." He told me later, "This award just means more than anything that has ever happened to me. Being voted Songwriter of the Year by people in the same business is completely overwhelming!" Earlier Elton hugged 21 year old George at the ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel and said: "It's very rare that one meets a major songwriter in the tradition of Barry Gibb and Paul McCartney!" ....."
I think that speaks for itself.

By the way, they've done just a little bit more than just hugging each other. This is sweet! (No, they have not been dating... )

I mentioned "Tonight" earlier, and I'm just going to explain why the record that the song is on is called "Two Rooms". Firstly, it's a tribute to Elton John and his x-partner Bernie Taupin. They couldn't work together, so they literally worked in "Two Rooms". Elton did the music, recorded it on tape and sent it to Bernie who would make the lyrics. (Alright, I admit it. The only reason that I mentioned this was because I realised that I have a pic from the concert that George sung it...)
