This story is dedicated to my wonderful grandfather, who passed away two months ago. May he live on forever in our hearts.

Piper eased the door closed, after walking in from a late night at the club. The whole house was asleep. She crept upstairs, and peeked into her sisters' rooms. They were both sound asleep, even Phoebe, who was sleeping alone, since Cole and Leo were gone overnight. Piper smiled, and blew them kisses at their doors, and headed to her room, and closed the door softly.
Not an hour later, a panicked scream split the night.
"Help!....Prue!....Phoebe!....Don't go!" Piper sat bolt upright in bed, screaming and sobbing hysterically. Phoebe and Paige lost no time in getting to their sister's bedside.  Phoebe pulled her older sister close, and began rocking her back and forth, soothing her, "Shh, Piper, It's all right. Phoebe and Paige are here." she said.
 "Phoebe....Prue." Piper sobbed.
"It's okay, Piper." Paige said, rubbing her oldest sister's back.
"Paige, would you go get her some warm tea?" Phoebe asked.
"No, Prue, don't leave me!" Piper cried.
"Honey, that's not Prue, that's Paige." Phoebe said.
"I need her, Phoebe! And I need you!" Piper said, still crying.
"Oh, sweetie." Phoebe said, rocking her back and forth.
"Piper, calm down. We can't help you unless you calm down." Paige said, "Do you want some tea, Piper?" she asked.
"No, I want you to stay with me!" Piper cried.
"Okay, Piper, it's okay. Come here, Paige." Phoebe said, holding an arm out to Paige, who sat on the bed, and wrapped her arms around her sisters. They rocked back and forth, almost to the tune of Piper's sobs.

***23 Years Earlier***
"Poo! Poo!" 3-year-old Phoebe said, softly, as she poked her sleeping 8-year-old sister.
Prue groaned, "What?" she asked, grumpily.
"I had a scawy dream. A monster chased me. I'm scawed, Poo!" Phoebe said.
"Come here, Pheebes." Prue said, as she welcomed he sister under the covers.
"Prue?" 6-year-old Piper peeked around the doorjamb.
"What, Piper?" Prue asked, as Piper crossed the carpet, and climbed in the other side of the bed. "What is it?"
"I love you, Prue." Piper said, and she closed her eyes.
Prue turned to Phoebe, who appeared to be asleep. "I love you, Piper and Phoebe. You'll always be my babies." she whispered, as she kissed her sisters on the head, and closed her eyes, too.

***Present Day***
A few minutes later, Piper's sobs had died down. "Pipes?" Phoebe said, as she pulled away from her sisters to look Piper in the eye.
"Piper, what happened?" Paige asked. Piper shook her head, and snuggled into her sisters again.
"I guess she doesn't want to talk." Paige observed.
"Let's see if we can get her to sleep. We'll talk tomorrow." Phoebe said. She began rocking both her sisters, humming, "You Are My Sunshine."

***18 Years Earlier***
 "Prue!" 10-year-old Piper screamed, "Phoebe!"
12-year-old Prue rushed into her sister's room, where Piper was crying softly. Prue pulled her sister into her arms, as Phoebe walked in, rubbing her eyes.
"What happened?" the 7-year-old asked, sleepily.
"Pipes had a scary dream. Come here, we'll sing to her." Prue said, holding her free hand out to her baby sister. Phoebe crawled onto the bed, and she and Piper snuggled into Prue's arms.
Prue began to sing, "You are my sunshine...." Phoebe joined in, as they rocked their sister to the tune of the words.

***Present Day***
Piper had stopped crying now, and Phoebe stopped humming, sure she was asleep.
"Prue used to sing that." Piper said, suddenly.
"Yeah, I remember." Phoebe said, softly.
Paige tried again, "Piper, what happened?" she asked.
Piper shook her head, and buried her face in Phoebe's shoulder. She started sniffling again.
"Paige, why don't you go get her some tea?" Phoebe asked. Paige got up to leave.
"No! Stay!" Piper cried, and reached her hand out to Paige, who sighed, took it, and sat down again.
"Something must have really scared her." Phoebe observed, "She's never like this."  Paige looked down at her oldest sister, who spoke, "Sing to me, please."
Phoebe started to sing, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow." Paige joined in, singing softly. Piper sighed contentedly, and snuggled into her sisters.

***10 Years Earlier***
"Phoebe!....Phoebe!" 20-year-old Prue sat bolt upright in bed in terror, screaming out her little sister's name. Both her sisters ran in, and comforted her.
"Phoebe, never scare me like that again!" Prue cried.
 "Okay, I won't. I promise, Prue, I won't. I'm sorry." 15-year-old Phoebe said, stroking her sister's hair.
"Prue, Phoebe's safe. I'm safe. We're all okay." 18-year-old Piper said, reassuringly.
Prue let out a few more sobs before she said, "Sing to me, guys."
"The sun will come out tomorrow...." Phoebe began, and Piper grinned at her and joined in. Together, they rocked their oldest sister back to sleep.

***Present Day***
"Piper?" Phoebe whispered, after they finished singing. She started to lower Piper down on the bed.
Piper's eyes flew open, "No!" she cried, throwing herself into Phoebe's arms.
"Okay, it's okay, baby, I wasn't going to leave you. I was just lying you down. Come on, lie with me." Phoebe said, and the three sisters lay down on Piper's bed, with Piper sandwiched in the middle.
Everyone was silent for a few minutes, until Piper spoke, "He killed you."
 "What?" Phoebe asked.
"The Source. He killed you and he killed Leo and he killed Cole and he killed Prue. I was the only one left. Even Paige was gone, the Source got her, too, because there was no Power of Three." Piper said, tears streaming down her face.
"Oh, sweetie, I'm right here. Paige is right here. Leo and Cole are just with the Elders. We're all okay, Pipes." Phoebe soothed.
"I know, but he did kill Prue. That's why I got so scared." Piper sobbed.
"I know, honey, I know." Phoebe said.
"Sing to me again, please, guys." Piper said.
Phoebe racked her brain, "What song do you want to hear?" she asked.
"Any song. The national anthem, I don't care. Just sing." Piper said.
Phoebe looked at Paige, who shrugged. "Oh, say! Can you see..." Phoebe and Paige began.

***2 Years Earlier***
"Creak!" 28-year-old Prue's bedroom door swung slowly open, and her youngest sister, 23-year-old Phoebe, crept across the carpet to the bed, and climbed in.
"Mmmph. Pheebes? What are you doing?" Prue asked, sleepily.
Phoebe gave Prue a kiss, "I love you, Prue." she said, and lay her head down on the pillow, and closed her eyes. In the light from the hallway, Prue could see tears on her sister's cheeks.
A few minutes later, Prue heard a thump and a muffled shriek. A minute later, 26-year-old Piper came rushing in, tears in her eyes, holding her elbow.
"What happened, Pipes?" Prue asked, reaching for her sister, who crawled on the other side of the bed.
"I fell getting out of bed. I thought I heard Phoebe." Piper said.
"Let me see." Prue said, pulling Piper's arm towards her. It looked a little bruised, but didn't seem too bad. "Want some ice?" she asked.
"Okay." Piper said, lying down on the bed. Prue ran down to the kitchen for some ice, but by the time she came back upstairs, both of her sisters were asleep in her bed. Prue smiled, climbed in herself, and snuggled in with her sisters.

***Present Day***
Piper was asleep by the time they finished singing.
"I love you, Piper." Phoebe said, as she kissed her sister's tear-streaked cheeks. Phoebe and Paige snuggled in closer to Piper, and closed their eyes. Soon they were asleep, too.
