Background: Piper and Leo are married and living in the manor with Phoebe and Paige.  Piper is 4 months pregnant.  Phoebe is working at P3 with Piper.  Cole is still running from demonic bounty hunters.  Paige is working as a social worker.

Scene 1: The kitchen in the manor.  Piper, Phoebe and Paige are sitting at the table with Leo eating breakfast.

Paige: (looks at her watch) Oh shoot, I'm going to be late.  That's the last time I hit the snooze button.
Phoebe: Well, hitting it once is fine but hitting it six times is pointless.
Paige: Touché.  Anyway, I've gotta run.  I'll see you guys at P3 tonight.
Piper: Yeah, see you soon.  (Paige leaves)  Phoebe, I have a shipment coming in at 10:00, can you be there to help me unpack it?
Phoebe: Sure.  Hey Leo, wanna help too?
Leo: (looks upward) Sorry Phoebe, "they" are calling.
Phoebe: Riiiight.  I think you just want to get out of the heavy lifting.
Leo: I'll meet you guys at the club when "they" are done with me and I'll help then OK?
Piper: Ok honey.  I'll see you soon.  (She kisses him)
Phoebe: Bye Leo. (He orbs out)
Piper: We'd better be going too.
Phoebe: OK.  I have to run some errands and then I'll meet you at the club by 9:30 so we can make room for the delivery in the stock room.
Piper: Good idea.  See you then. (They leave)

Scene 2: P3 Piper and Phoebe are unpacking boxes.

Piper: I wonder where Leo is.  I would have thought he'd be here by now.
Phoebe: I knew he wanted to get out of helping (Piper smiles)
Piper: I doubt that is it.  Lately, he hasn't wanted me to do anything.  He loves taking care of me and now that I'm pregnant, he's got an excuse to.
Phoebe: You're so lucky.  Cole has been so busy running from bounty hunters that I barely see him.  We've got to find a way to get him off of Evil's radar without putting him in harm's way with our Wiccan lives.
Piper: We will.  It just will take some time.  Speaking of time, it's getting late.  We need to finish this up soon.  (Leo orbs in)
Phoebe: Just in time Leo.  We're almost done.
Leo: We have a problem.
Piper: What is it?
Leo: Apparently, there's a warlock after you.
Piper: Who?  All three of us?
Leo: "They" didn't know.  All I was told was that the warlock's name is Laird.
Phoebe: Well, we'd better get to the Book of Shadows to see what we're up against.
Piper: I'll call Paige and tell her to meet us at home.

Scene 3: The Attic at the manor.  The girls are looking through the book.

Paige: So tell me again why you pulled me out of a meeting.  We don't know anything yet.
Piper: Paige, we don't know anything and that's when it is the most dangerous.  We don't know what power's we're up against, what he wants, or how to vanquish him.  We're the most vulnerable now.
Paige: Ok, ok, I get it.
Phoebe: Here he is, "Laird, a warlock with the powers to become invisible and throw fire balls. He can't be scryed for because of his invisibility.
Paige: That means . . . what?  We have to wait for him to find us?
Piper: Sounds like it.  We have to be on the lookout.
Paige: Ok, I'll be careful.
Piper: (Looks at her watch )Oooh, I have to get back to the club to open.  Pheebs, are you coming?
Phoebe: Yup.  Right behind you.
Paige: I'll meet you guys there OK?  I have to get changed first.
Piper: Ok, be careful.
Paige: I will.
Scene 4: P3 The club is full of people.  Piper is behind the bar; Phoebe is on the other side with Paige.
Piper: Well, everything seems to be under control.  I think I'm going to head home.  I'm exhausted.  Are you guys staying here?
Paige: I am.
Phoebe: I will too.  I'll catch a ride home with Paige.
Piper: Ok, I'm off then.
Phoebe: We'll walk you out. (They walk out into the alley behind the club.  All of a sudden, Paige is yanked back and a man appears.  Paige screams.  Phoebe whirls around and kicks him.  He lets go of Paige and blinks out.)
Paige: What the hell was that?
Phoebe: My guess is that was Laird.
Paige: I want to go home now.  (They leave)
Scene 5: The Manor living room.  Piper enters the room with a cup of tea and hands it to Paige.
Paige: That was really scary.
Piper: I bet.
Phoebe: It seems to me that Laird is after Paige.
Paige: Wait, what make you think that?
Piper: Well, he didn't go after Phoebe or me after he let go of you.
Paige: Well maybe he knew he was out numbered.
Phoebe: Maybe, but I doubt it
Piper: Why would he be after Paige?
Phoebe: She's the youngest and the newest to the craft.  Maybe he thinks she can't fight as well as we can.
Paige: I can hold my own.
Piper: We know that Paige, but he doesn't.
Phoebe: I doubt he'll strike again tonight.  I think we should all get a good night's sleep and we can figure out a vanquish in the morning.
Piper: I agree
Paige: I don't!  I'm his target; I want him gone now!
Phoebe: Ok Paige, you and I will work on a vanquish.  Piper, you need to get some sleep.  We'll wake you if we need you.
Piper: I'm too tired to argue.  I'll see you guys in the morning (she leaves)
Scene 6: Piper and Leo's bedroom.  Piper is in bed and Leo orbs in.
Leo: How was your evening?
Piper: It was good until Laird attacked Paige at the club.  We spent the rest of the evening strategizing.
Leo: So he's after Paige?
Piper: That's what it looks like.  I wish I could help more, but I'm so tired I wouldn't be very helpful.
Leo: It's OK.  You and the baby need your rest or you're completely useless and vulnerable.
Piper: You're right.  How did you get to be so smart?
Leo: Years and years of practice.  (He smiles and climbs into bed.  Piper snuggles into his arms and falls asleep.)
Scene 7: The kitchen in the Manor the next morning.  The sisters are eating breakfast.
Piper: I think I'm going for a walk to get some fresh air.  Wanna join me?
Paige: Sure.  I don't have to be at work for a while yet.
Phoebe: I'll come too.  My workout schedule has become non-existent since my jogging partner got pregnant and quit on me (winks at Piper)
(The girls leave the manor.  While walking down the road, Piper and Paige are yanked back and Laird appears.)
Phoebe: Let them go!
Laird: I don't think so.  They've got what I want.
Phoebe: Well you can't have them. Now! (Paige orbs out of Lairdís grasp.  He's startled and let's go of Piper for a split second.  She turns to freeze him and he blinks out.
Phoebe: Are you guys OK?
Piper: Yeah, I'm fine.
Paige: That's twice!  I want this warlock gone, now!
Piper: We all do.  We need to know what his purpose is before we face him again.
Paige: Well let's go.  I want this done.  (They walk back to the manor)
Piper: Leo!
Phoebe & Piper: Leo! (He orbs in)
Leo: What is it?  What's wrong?
Piper: Do the Elders know any more about Laird.  He just attacked Paige and me.
Leo: Are you Ok?
Piper: (puts a hand on her stomach) He didn't hurt us.
Phoebe: We need to know what he wants.  I know he doesn't want me.  He all but said that.
Piper: Leo, he said, "They've got what I want."  Do you know what that could mean?
Leo: Nope.  I was talking to the Elders when you called.  They know less than you do.
Phoebe: That's comforting
Piper: We need to figure out what Paige and I have that Laird wants.
Paige: Well, we have more active powers.  Maybe he want's those.
Piper: Could be, but they why didn't he go after me at P3?
Paige: I dunno.
Phoebe: Oh I think I know!  It's not what Paige and Piper have in common, it's what Paige and Piper's baby have in common.
Piper: Huh?
Leo: The powers of someone conceived of a witch and a whitelighter.
Piper: And he didn't attack me at the club, because he didn't know I was pregnant?
Phoebe: Bingo!
Paige: Well, what's so special about my powers.  I mean I can only orb and call for things.  My powers aren't even as damaging as Prue's were.
Leo: Well, Piper, Phoebe, and Prue are only half magical if you will.  Their father is mortal.  You and the baby are totally magical because both parents have powers.  The strength and the purity of your powers may be different.
Phoebe: Leo, can you ask "them" about the witch/whitelighter powers.  See what light then can shed on the subject.  (Leo orbs out)
Paige: Phoebe and I are almost done with the vanquish.  Piper, can you help us?
Piper: yeah, just give me a sec ok?
Paige: Sure (she leaves)
(Phoebe turns to leave and Piper starts to cry)
Phoebe: Piper honey, what's the matter?
Piper: (Wiping her eyes) It's just . . . I've gotten used to being chased or attacked by warlocks and demons, hell, I expect it.  But I never imagined that they would come after my baby, even before she's born.
Phoebe: We won't let anything happen to your baby Piper.  We'll beat Laird.
Piper: it's not just Laird, Phoebe.  This won't stop after we vanquish Laird and it won't stop after the baby is born either.  Then she's even more vulnerable.  At least now I can protect her all the time.  When she's born there will be times when I can't.
Phoebe: Piper, it will be OK.  We will cross that bridge when we come to it.  Right now we need to stop Laird.  Can you help us with the vanquish?
Piper: yeah, I can.  Thanks for listening Phoebe.
Phoebe: Any time.
(Leo orbs in)
Leo: Piper, what's wrong?
Piper: Nothing, I'm fine now.  Did you find anything out?
Leo: Yeah.  Powers of the children of two magical people are stronger than other magic.  Laird wants Paige's powers along with the baby's powers to make him more difficult to defeat.
Phoebe: He hasn't got any super supernatural powers yet does he?
Leo: No
Phoebe: So a vanquishing spell should work right?
Leo: The power of three is strong enough to beat him for now.  If he were to gain more magical strength, I don't know if you could beat him.
Piper: OK, well we'd better go help Paige with the vanquish.
Phoebe: OK (she leaves)
Leo: Piper, what's really wrong?
Piper: I was just worried about the baby that's all.  It's all right now.
Leo: You know that I would never let anything happen to our baby right?
Piper: Yeah, I do.  I'd better go to help Phoebe and Paige.  I love you. (She leaves)
Scene 8: Inside P3
Piper: Ok, so how do we find Laird?
Phoebe: What about the magic to magic spell?
Piper: Does that work on warlocks?
Phoebe: It might
Paige: Well, it's worth a try.
Phoebe: Magic Forces black and white
    reaching out through space and light,
      be he far or be he near
        bring us the warlock Laird right here.
(Swirling smoke starts to form in front of the girls)
Paige: Here he comes
Laird: Well, I never though my victims would seek me out.
Piper: We're not your victims
Laird: . . . Yet
Piper: Ever . . . (she looks at Phoebe and Paige) Now!
Piper, Paige and Phoebe: Evil warlock you will see
    The magic of the power of three
    Our strong magic is what you crave
    But is something you'll never have
    To keep Magic safe is what we vow
    So we vanquish you here and now!
(Laird screams and explodes)
Paige: Is he gone?
Piper: Looks like it to me.
Paige: good!  I didn't like being on a hit list
Phoebe: You'll get used to it.
(Piper gives her a disbelieving look)
Piper: I say we head home.
Phoebe: sounds good to me.
Scene 9: The Manor Living room.  Phoebe, Piper and Paige are sitting on the couch, Piper is looking pensive
Phoebe: Whatcha thinking about Piper?
Piper: Not much, just that my baby is going to be more powerful than I am.  It's a weird thought.
Phoebe: Yeah that's got to be weird.
Piper: Hey, if you and Cole ever have kids, you'll be dealing with the same thing my dear.
Phoebe: Oh boy, I never thought of that.  (Piper smiles)  I guess that would make my life even crazier than it is now.
Piper: Welcome to my life.
Paige: As if life wasn't crazy enough!
