This fanfic places on the night right before Prue's funeral.

After one long day of crying and sadness, Piper decided to go to bed. Not to sleep, she couldn't, but just to have some rest. She laid on the bed and closed her eyes slowly. Before she knew she was sleeping. When she suddenly opened her eyes with a jump she felt a weird presence on the room. Her heart started to accelerate as she turned herself to look back. There she was, standing in front of her, her lost sister. She looked so peaceful and so beautiful that Piper couldn't help herself to stop the tears that were coming down from her already tired eyes. She had to take a few moments so she could finally say the first word:
ìPrue?î
ìYes, sweetie.î
ìIs it really you? I'm not dreaming, am I?î
ìNo, honey. It's really me.î Prue smiled at Piper with tenderness.
ìAre you back? Back to me? To us?î
ìI never left in the first place. I was always with you and Phoebe. I love you too much to simply leave.î
ìWhy can't you be here all the time?î Piper stood up.
ìI am here all the time. Don't you love me?î
ìOh, my God! So much!î She ran to hug her sister.
ìSo, I will always be in your heart.î Prue looked at Piper. ìAnd you will always be in mine.î
ìWhy are you sounding like this?î
ìLike how?î
ìLike this is a good bye.î
ìIt's not. It's a see you later.î
ìNo, please...î She started to cry again.
ìDon't do this. Don't cry anymore I can't see you hurting.î
ìSo don't go.î
ìI won't. But understand, I can't be here like before. I will be here, all the time, but in your heart. You can always count on me, remember that.î
ìAll I have to do is cry your name?î
ìCall... don't cry.î Prue hugged Piper and kissed her on the forehead.
ìBye...î
ìSee you later.î She smiled and Piper smiled back at her.
ìI love you.î
ìI love you tooî
ìGo to bed. I'll be here until you fall asleep.î
Piper went to her bed and laid down looking at Prue. Slowly her eyes began to close and when she realized she'd closed them she opened them fast, but Prue was no longer there. She looked up, smiled and whispered: ìSee you later...î
