A Paige From The Past

"My sister was just possessed by a supernaturally-born killer, and my husband is in 1994, and I do not mean in the fashion sense. He time-travelled back with my other sister, so the only one left to help me is you!"
-Piper

Cole is at the police station, sitting on a bench. He's been arrested for driving without a license. Darryl says he's free to go, but tells him no more driving without a license. Piper and Paige come to pick him up, and Piper tells him "that was the first and the last time you borrow my car." They exit, but outside they see an accident happen. Piper freezes the scene, and she and Cole rescue the driver and run away, just as the car unfreezes and explodes. Piper realizes Paige didn't help, and looks back. Paige is standing on the sidewalk, frozen in place, staring at the flaming car. "What happened to you? Paige!" Piper calls, but gets no response.
The next morning, Cole runs out the door, telling Phoebe he's going to get a life. He needs action. He's tired of sitting around the Manor all day with nothing to do. He leaves, and Phoebe marches into the kitchen, asking Piper and Leo "Am I the world's biggest b****, or what?" "Nah, too easy." Piper says. Phoebe is beating herself up because Cole "gave up everything he has ever known for me, and I can't muster up a simple 'Yes' to marriage." Piper says that she thinks Phoebe's afraid. Phoebe quickly changes the topic, "How's Paige feeling this morning?" she asks. The girls contemplate why she froze up like she did, when Phoebe notices Leo, "If you bury your nose any deeper into your coffee cup, you're gonna need a snorkel. What do you know?" Phoebe asks. Leo tells the girls that Paige's parents died in a car accident. They decide they need to go to her and help her through it.
At Paige's work, Piper and Phoebe show up, demanding to speak to their sister, telling her they know about her parents. Paige says she'll talk to them at home.
At the police station, Cole shows up, and asks Darryl if he can help out with his case. Darryl looks at him as if he's crazy, but Cole still persists.
At the Manor, a teary Paige tells Piper, Phoebe, and Leo the story about her parents' deaths. She blames herself for her parents' deaths, they had been fighting in the car and her Dad was so busy yelling at her, he didn't see the car coming until it was too late. Phoebe hugs Paige and Piper asks Leo, "How do we help her deal with something that happened in the past?" "Send her back to it." Leo replies.
In the attic, Leo summons Clyde, the ghost of time-travel. He looks upward and begins cussing Clyde out. At Piper's grimace, Leo explains, "There's only one way to get Clyde down here. You gotta make him mad." Clyde comes and Leo convinces him to send himself and Paige to 1994. As he complies, two shadowy figures escape from the portal, and float, unnoticed around the attic, until one enters Phoebe's body.
Leo and Paige go to 1994, and immediately, Paige's father gets angry at Paige for smoking. Paige and Leo overhear Paige's parents talking about how badly she's behaving. Paige gets teary-eyed, and tries to talk to them, but they don't listen, and send her off to school.
In the kitchen, Piper is cooking up a storm for sisters' night, and Phoebe is admiring herself in the mirror. Phoebe is talking with a funny accent and Piper's getting suspicious. Cole walks in, and the other shadowy figure possesses him. Piper notices that they are intensely affectionate towards each other, and are speaking with accents. Piper rolls her eyes, annoyed, "Go to lunch!" she orders. Piper gets even more annoyed when Cole calls Phoebe Lulu. "Enough with the pet names and accents in the kitchen. And could you come up with something better than Lulu? It sounds like a poodle." Piper grumbles. Cole glares at her, grabs a knife, and threatens her with it. Phoebe claps, "My Frankie is so protective!" "Frankie?" Piper says, "And Lulu?" "Hi. We're ghosts." Phoebe announces, "And we've been waiting about 50 years to finish a job, so if you'll excuse us....." Phoebe trails off, rears back, and punches Piper out.
In 1994, Paige gets annoyed with having to sit in a classroom when she should be spending her last day with her parents. She makes a break for the classroom door, when a security guard opens it. "Going somewhere?" he asks. Paige groans.
Piper, rubbing her jaw, enters the police station. She's called Darryl to help out. They find out that Frankie and Lulu were a couple who robbed a series of jewelry stores in the fifties. "They killed two people before they were gunned down." Darryl says. Piper wonders what their unfinished business is. They find out which jewelry store they were trying to rob, and wonder if that was the job they are trying to finish. They decide they'd better head on over.
At the jewelry store, Frankie and Lulu enter. They sashay over to the counter, grab the security guard's gun, steal a ring, and run out.
Piper and Darryl arrive a few minutes later. "Oh, no, we're too late. They did it." Piper groans. Darryl asks a policeman what happened, and he and Piper puzzle over why Frankie and Lulu only took one ring. "But first..." Piper says, and she freezes the crime scene. She steals the surveillance tape and Darryl wipes fingerprints off the counter. After Piper unfreezes the room again, the policeman walks over. "Just thought you'd like to know. A couple matching the description just hit a bridal store on Fourth. Stole a dress," he tells them. Piper gets it, now, "Frankie and Lulu's unfinished business isn't criminal. It's matrimonial. They wanna get married," she explains, "Let's go," she says, and they leave.
In 1994, the principal suspends Paige from school. Her parents are very disappointed in her and lead her out of the building. She talks to them and it seems that they come to an understanding. She convinces them not to go out to dinner, just to go home. They are driving home, when Leo appears in the car. He tells Paige she can't change the past. "I just did." she says, and just as Leo orbs out, she sees a truck coming. "Look out!" Paige screams, as she orbs out of the car and onto the pavement. Just seconds later, the car bursts into flames. Leo tries to console a crying Paige, telling her that she was saved by magic, so she could do good things with it. "That's how I got out of the car. I orbed out." Paige realizes.
At a church, Frankie and Lulu are standing before a priest, Frankie with a gun in his hand. Suddenly, a voice rings out, "I object to this union!" Piper and Darryl have arrived. Piper shoots her hands out to freeze them. The minister freezes, but Frankie and Lulu don't. Frankie holds his gun out, preparing to shoot. "Put the gun down slowly." Darryl says, pointing is own gun at Frankie. Frankie shoots anyway, and so does Darryl. Frankie misses, but Darnel's bullet hits Frankie in the chest. Frankie and Lulu figure it's time to leave, and exit Phoebe and Cole's bodies. They float near the ceiling, as Phoebe calls for Leo. Piper realizes something, and yells for Clyde. He comes, and Piper barks at him, "Bring back Leo now!" He complies and soon Paige and Leo are in the room, and as Leo heals Cole, Clyde notices Frankie and Lulu. "Where do you think you're going?" he asks them. He pulls them back into the portal. He grins slyly at everyone, and vanishes. Cole is now standing up, fully healed. "You never answered the chaplain's question," he observes. "I never answered your question. Ask me again." Phoebe requests. Cole takes a deep breath. "Will you marry me?" he asks. "Yes. I will." Phoebe says, and they hug, Piper, Paige, and Leo smile.
At home, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are having supper again. Phoebe asks Paige what happened in her past. "Well, I found out I was not responsible for the accident," she says. "Of course you weren't." Piper says. "Then what's the matter?" Phoebe asks. "Well, it just makes me sad that my parents won't see us.. or what I've become." Paige says, wistfully. "Actually, that's not quite true." Leo says. All of a sudden, Paige's parents come walking out of a fog and into the dining room. "We know what you are honey, and what you've become. We're so proud of you," they say. Paige gets tearful, and hugs them, while Piper, Phoebe, and Leo look on, smiling.
