"It's a beautiful sunset isn't it? I don't think there's been one quite like it in 128 years..."
                                            -Prue

It's a nice sunny day in the Bay Area, although for some reason both Phoebe and her father are carrying umbrellas. They chat as they wander the grounds of an old ghost town. Victor questions Phoebe about Leo, who he is, what he does. And Phoebe begins to realize that her father has yet to discover the truth about the man who is soon to be his son-in-law. Meanwhile, Phoebe's a little confused about why her father chose to bring her on this particular outing. Finally he reveals that he's considering buying the place, but that it seems to be cursed, having scared away all of it's investors. He wants Pheebs to work some of her mojo, and maybe a little fung shui on the town. He's hoping she can tell him if it's really cursed.
Suddenly Phoebe sees a Native American man being tossed out of the saloon. The man, Bo, is punched in the face by a cowboy and falls right through Phoebe. The youngest Halliwell touches her bloody lip as she informs her father that the fung shui on the place ain't so great. :)
Back at the manor, Piper is getting ready for her rehearsal dinner. Prue's a little mystified that she set six places at the table, when there will only be five people. Piper reluctantly tells her that she set the other place for her mom. Prue hugs her little sister as Leo appears. And then in come Victor and Leo.
Phoebe quickly tells her family what happened. Leo is ready to heal her lip, but Phoebe stops him, then sends her father outside to get the files on the town. Once he's gone she tells them that their father doesn't know about Leo. He and Prue turn on Piper, who sheepishly informs them that she hasn't gotten around to to telling him yet. After their mom had an affair with her whitelighter, Piper's not too excited about giving him the news. Victor comes back and decides to take Leo to lunch, leaving his daughters to look in their book.
At a restaurant Leo is nervously chugging his water. Victor tries to warn him about the dangers of marrying a witch. Danger numero uno? Whitelighters. They're sneaky little creatures who come in and steal a mortal's wife before he can even realize what's happening. Leo just sits there, saying nothing.
The elder Halliwell sisters keep up the research as Phoebe inspects her new bruises. She seems to be getting more of Bo's injuries. Prue can't find any of the records for the town after 1873. She suspects it's some kind of time loop. But then Piper flips to another page in the BoS and realizes that it's some kind of curse. A great evil must have occurred and cursed the town into a time loop, one that can only be broken when the wrong is righted.
The door bell rings and Prue answers it, only to see Cole bearing flowers. He walks into the house, only to have Prue send him flying. Phoebe and Piper rush in as Cole informs them all that he's not giving up on Phoebe. Piper and Prue aren't exactly happy to find that he's back and Phoebe wants nothing to do with him. Cole notices then that she is hurt. And then suddenly she collapses. Bo's been shot and so has Phoebe.
Over at the restaurant, Victor is still ranting about whitelighters. And then Leo gets called by his fiancé. He smiles nervously and glances around, checking to see if anyone else is nearby. Then he tells Victor that he has to go, just before he orbs out.
Leo arrives back at the manor and is surprised to see Cole. He tries to heal Phoebe, but it doesn't work since she wasn't actually the one who was shot. They decide that they need to heal Bo. Cole can get to the alternate world where the time loop exists and then bring Bo back so that Leo can heal him. Prue insists that she will go with him, although she doesn't look happy about it. As they disappear the door slams and Victor runs in, shouting a few choice words at Leo. But Leo and Piper hurriedly orb out, back to the fung shui town, leaving Victor with Phoebe.
Prue and Cole arrive in the old west and try to fit in. They wander into the saloon, attempting to get some info on Bo. The bar owner informs them that there's been trouble with Sutter, a main guy in town. Suddenly Sutter arrives. He holds up a newspaper he's already printed announcing Bo's death at sunset. Then he demands to know where the man is hiding. He asks Bo's sister Isabelle who's also at the bar. But when no one answers he directs one of his men to rough people up. Prue intervenes and as the bar brawl breaks out, Cole also gets into it with one of the cowboys. In the end the two stand up to the men and Sutter leaves, promising to burn the town to the ground if he cannot find Bo. The cowboy yells at Cole, telling him that the they'll have a score to settle later.
Prue and Cole leave the saloon with Isabelle. She explains that Sutter killed the sheriff and pretty much took over the town. He's after Bo now, because Bo stood up to him. Isabelle explains that she can trust Prue and Cole, because Bo had dreams about people coming to help him. Like Phoebe, he too, seems to have visions of the future. Cole wants to end it quickly by killing Sutter. Prue explains that if he wants to be good, his first instinct shouldn't be to kill.
Meanwhile, Piper and Leo wander through the ghost town. They search the saloon and find the old newspaper that Sutter held up. They had thought that Bo wouldn't die until midnight, but now they discover that he's due to die at sundown. They have to find a way to tell Prue and Cole, because if Bo dies, then Phoebe dies too.
Back at the manor, Phoebe tells her father that she's going to die, she can feel it. But her father insists that her sisters won't let that happen and neither will he. Piper and Leo finally return and tell Phoebe what they've learned. They need her to try and get a premonition about Bo's death. If she can see it, then Bo should be able to see it to.
Prue, Cole and Isabelle reach the church where Bo is hiding. Prue wants to do the talking. She still doesn't trust Cole and she wants him to leave her and her sisters alone once this is over. He explains that they'll have to vanquish him before he'll do that.
They find Bo in the church, but he is immediately suspicious of them. They show him their powers though and he seems ready to believe them. Prue uses her telekinesis to get the bullet out of Bo, just as Phoebe has her premonition. Bo sees it and realizes what is destined to happen.
At the manor, Phoebe is crying hysterically. She saw Bo shot down in front of the entire town. Nobody tried to do anything, nobody was willing to stop Sutter. Seeing his daughter in pain, Victor lashes out at Leo, angry that he can't do anything. But Leo tells him that he has to trust Prue and Cole. Victor isn't ready to trust a demon though. Leo explains that Cole will do anything to save Phoebe. The youngest Halliwell agrees, knowing that Cole loves her as much as she loves him.
Back at the church, the small group realizes that Sutter is coming. Someone must have followed them there. Cole wants to take Bo back to Leo so that he can be healed. But Prue knows that that won't fix the time loop. They have to try something else. Cole's stunned that she's willing to sacrifice her own sister, but Prue explains that there is always a greater good to think about.
Bo decides that he must give himself up. He knows that the curse came from his father's people. It happened because the town's people did nothing, that was the great evil that started it all. Now he needs to give the people the chance to save themselves. Prue reluctantly agrees with the plan.
Sutter drags Bo into the center of the town and starts whipping him viciously. Back at the manor poor Phoebe can feel it. Prue and Cole try to rally the townspeople to stop Sutter. Finally the man pulls his gun and is about to kill Bo. But one of the men shoots the gun right out of his hand, and the rest of the townspeople finally pull their weapon on Sutter. Sutter jumps on his horse and tries to make a getaway, but Prue chases him down, shooting him off of the horse, then using her power to toss him into a building. Bo and Isabelle come over to her, wondering if the curse is broken. Prue sees the sun setting and realizes that it is. Time will finally move on in this town.
Back in the saloon Cole and his enemy are having a shoot out. Cole is out of bullets and the man is ready to kill him. But suddenly Cole uses his power, turning the man into a ball of fire. Cole laughs, then stops when he realizes that Prue has caught him in the act. Any faith that Prue had in him has vanished completely.
Prue and Cole return to the manor to find Phoebe healed. She thanks both of them for saving her. Now it's time for the rehearsal dinner. Cole is about to leave when Phoebe stops him. She kisses him, telling him that he's not going anywhere. Piper, Prue Phoebe and Leo look away as Phoebe smiles at her demonic boyfriend. Then they all wander into the dining room.
