It is a fun day. Prue, Piper and Phoebe return home after a day of shopping. Piper is happy that she bought new shoes and Phoebe says that they had a great day: manicure, pedicure, yoga, lunch. She asks them when they've had this much fun, so Prue answers that it is nice to bond over something other than vanquishing for a change, so Phoebe answers that she has to hand it to those pesky little demons because they sure have brought them close together. Then Prue turns the TV on and sees bad news about people fighting in the streets. Piper says that some people are just crazy and Prue realizes that this stuff has been happening a lot lately.
    Phoebe who's enjoying sociology class tells them that according to her sociology professor random social violence is encouraged by ethical thinking. Surprised, Prue and Piper wonders how she stays awake during his classes. Phoebe explains that not only does she stay awake but she's really enjoying it which is why she brought a book filled with profound questions. Phoebe thinks they should take it to P3, but Piper starts making fun of her by saying that it is great to solve the world's problems while making jello shots. Phoebe asks a question from the book which is: a building is on fire who would you save 5 strangers or one sibling? Prue and Piper agree that it is an easy question and they answer that they would save one sibling.
    The doorbell rings so Piper hurries to open the door asking her sisters not to start asking questions without her. Fortunately it is Leo asking her out for an early dinner in a restaurant. Piper is not sure that she will be able to go with him and leave her sisters after this fun day. But Phoebe and Prue don't agree with her and tell her to go and have fun while they'll go to P3 to check on things. So she agrees.
   Later in the car, Piper tells Leo that she doesn't mean that she didn't enjoy the dinner but she thinks that Prue and Phoebe would have enjoyed the restaurant too. So Leo wishes that they were normal sisters cause he feels that he is breaking up a big party when he wants to be alone with her. So she answers that she has room for all of them in her heart and Leo starts wondering which room is his.
    Meanwhile a strange man sitting in his car, waiting for Piper to move seems to be in a big hurry and tries to pass Piper's car. Instead he crashes into a grocery van. Angry, the van's driver gets out of his car and begins a fight, which later involves the whole block. By mistake a stranger throws a watermelon at Piper's jeep
 Upset she leaves her car and freezes the whole block except for a guy in a suit who runs away when he sees her. Piper chases him down but then he disappears on a horse joined by three other guys in a suits.
    Back to P3. Prue and Phoebe are enjoying Paula Cole's concert when Piper arrives and tells them what happened. Phoebe wonders which demon causes road rage so Piper tells her that she is not sure if he caused it or is attracted to it. So the four of them decide to go home and check the BOS.
    Meanwhile, the horseman tells his friends what happened with the good witch (that means Piper). Afraid that his friend has screwed up the red tie guy who seems to be the strongest threatens him and they begin a fight that is stopped by the other two guys. And they all decide that they can move forward with their plan and still make their dead line which is seven oíclock the next day. They can kill Piper by sending a trap because she is a good witches and she'll try to stop them so they'll give her something to stop.
    Back home Piper and Phoebe are checking the BOS when Prue enters and asks them how the search is going. Piper replies that they have found many choices and they have been reading all night without finding a description of the man she saw. But they have a list of six potential demons and her best guess is the demon of anarchy. Leo tries to stop them because they can't just guess, they have to be sure because it is so dangerous to engage an enemy unless they know who he is and what he wants. So they answer that they have done this before and it would be great to know everything but they can't. Plus they can wait for inspiration, He doesn't get to convince them and they go with the demon of anarchy. Then they call Darkly for help. They need to know where the hot spot is.
    After getting Darrylís help, Prue, Piper and Phoebe go to the city hoping to vanquish the demon. When they arrive there, the demon sees Piper and runs away and Prue chases him but she is stopped by the strongest one (the red tie guy) and the two others. When Piper and Phoebe try to help their sister it is too late the bad guys have started the chant. So Prue asks them to start too. Suddenly a vortex opens and takes Prue and the red tie guy. Upset, the bad guys disappear. Piper and Phoebe are shocked and Piper thinks that they have vanquished their sister. But Phoebe doesn't agree with her and tells her that their magic never failed them before, maybe they just sent her somewhere. She has to believe in herself, in each other, Leo and the BOS.
    The three bad guys reappear in their office, sure that their friend is not dead. They can't be vanquished, they are the four horsemen of the apocalypse (strife, death, famine and war). Only the source can vanquish them. But famine says that they need death and they have to get him back. And again they start a new fight stopped by the famine.
    Back at the manor, Leo tries to comfort Piper and tells them that he has been through the book several times and there's no information about the guys they described. So Piper asks him if he agrees that Prue is not dead but when she doesn't get any answer she is confused. Then suddenly Piper feels Prue go through her so Leo tells them that she may be lost in another plain of existence and she may be trying to speak with them. So Phoebe asks Prue to help them find her but Prue spells on the spirit board the word "help" and suddenly Phoebe feels someone evil who just went through her. They see two clouds one white which is Prue and the other one red which is war who is chasing her and the both of them leave the manor. So Leo concludes that Prue is still alive but she is in trouble and Piper adds that if she can find them that means that they can find her. So Piper sends Leo to ask his bosses what is happening and then she returns to consult the BOS.
    At the office strife famine and death are searching for war. He contacts them by TV telling them that they have to cooperate with the witches if they wants him back.
    Back at the manor, Piper and Phoebe are still searching for ways to save their sister who's been so quiet for a long time. Leo orbs in and tells them that he has a message from THEM. Their bosses talked to his bosses about the whole situation and learned that Prue and their partner are trapped in another world between good and evil. The only way to release them is to get good and evil to cooperate. Piper asks him if they are allowed to do that so he answers that they told him to deliver the message and to let them decide what they should do. Phoebe asks him if they mentioned what they think they should do. He answers that because of free will they are allowed to do what they wish. So Piper and Phoebe agree to cooperate with the bad guys despite Leo's advice about not doing it. He tells them that even if evil will work with them they'll betray them and that's why evil loves free will very much because humans use it to follow their heart and they take advantage of it. These guys are so powerful  and impossible to vanquish. Who knows what will happen when they get reunited.
    At the forest, Piper and Phoebe meet the guys and make a deal with them. When they return home Phoebe makes room for the meeting while the bad guys are making fun of her. Leo is not comfortable with bringing them to the manor. So Piper tells him that that it is better than going to their home because at the manor they are safer and stronger. During the meeting, Phoebe, Piper and the guys fight about the places where they were standing while chanting. After that they agree that they must have formed a pentagram. Piper adds that the five of them with Prue and their friend in the middle must have created a weird magic field and if they figure out how to open it they'll be able to open it again. And strife adds that in that way they can release them. Angry, Leo answers back saying that nobody knows what else will happen after releasing their friend. Death tells his friends that he is going to check on things at the office so Leo orbs out to catch up with him. Surprised they asks Piper what Leo is so she answers rudely that he is none of their business. She's going to make the potion while Phoebe and strife work on the chants so they can open the vortex again.
    At the office, Leo hits a man and takes his suit so that he can work in disguise. At the manor, Phoebe and strife are working on the vortex. Famine communicate with death who is unpleased with the results of death's absence. Piper notices a tattoo on the other man and asks him about it so he answered that it is just business and she wouldn't understand. While Phoebe is working with strife, Prue enters by the window goes throw Phoebe and tries to spell a word on the spirit board  but death comes after her and they go leaving a big mess after them. The too guys go after they have discovered how to undo what they had done. They can reverse polarity with the chants and the pentagram and they make an appointment with girls at 6:30 that day. Phoebe tells Piper that Prue tried to spell something on the spirit board but all she could get was: 4-h-o-r.
    At the office, Leo discovers that the bad guys are the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse when suddenly the guy beaten by Leo reappears. Leo escapes then he orbs in the house. He tells Piper and Phoebe who the guys are and tells them that if they save Prue they' ll release the fourth horseman of the apocalypse and bring the bell to the end of the world. Later on Piper tells him that they would help the source itself if they thought that they could save Prue. Unpleased he explains to her that they wear the mark "omega" which means the end and Piper recognizes it from the neck of famine who was with her while making the potion. He adds that they have been dealing with death, strife and famine. They're meant to end the world at the end of the millennium.  The real millennium is that day at approximately at seven o'clock. They are thinking like sisters when they are supposed to think like the charmed ones. Than he adds that only the source can destroy them for failing and nothing happened before because no other team of horsemen has been so close. So Piper answers that they'll make sure that they fail too. Before they go Leo reminds them that they went to the future and learned that there are more important things that saving their sister.
    Back at the place where the horsemen first met the charmed ones, they are afraid that Piper and Phoebe won't show up when suddenly Piper and Phoebe appear. While she is shaking hands with strife Phoebe gets one of her premonitions of the end of the world but they start chanting anyway. But Phoebe stops when she figures out that Leo was right and Piper agrees with her even if they'll lose their sister forever. But suddenly the source opens the vortex and begins killing the horsemen.  Phoebe gets the idea of finishing the spell and they get Prue out before the vortex closes. One more time the charmed ones save the day.
    That night, Prue, Piper and Phoebe are together at P3 when Leo appears congratulating them. He tells them that their act of selflessness saved the world then he goes considering that the three sisters need time together. A worker at P3 asks a question from the book which Phoebe bought and it is: what if the building is on fire do you save five stranger or one sibling so they all answers at once: five strangers.
