"No problem, for I bare the power of...one."
                    -Piper

It is night and Piper is stuck out on the road with a flat. She is talking to Phoebe on her cell phone, trying to figure out how to change the tire. But she is having little luck, especially since she is trying to substitute a long wooden spoon for a car jack. Phoebe, who is at Quake with Prue, tells her that they will come get her,. But Piper insists that she will be fine. She just has to call the Auto Club. She hangs up on her sister and hastily dials the number.
Back at Quake, Prue and Phoebe are seated and Phoebe asks her oldest sister for a job at Bucklands. Prue has some reservations about the idea, but reluctantly agrees to employ Phoebe.
Piper is still on the phone, trying to talk to the Auto Club. But then her cell phone goes dead. She glances around nervously and spots a phone booth nearby. She hurries towards it, then after realizing that something isn't right, she breaks out into a run. She locks herself into the phone booth and turns around only to find a huge hairy creature banging on the glass. Piper screams and with one swift motion the beast tips over the phone booth, then reaches in through the broken glass. Piper is dazed and terrified as it slashes her arm. Then suddenly a flares shoots over her head. The beast is scared off and Piper finds herself staring up at a strange man she has never met. And he is telling her that everything will be all right.
Prue and Phoebe rush to the hospital where Andy is waiting for them. The trio find Piper crying as a doctor tries to wrap up her bloody arm. Once Prue and Andy have left the room, Phoebe asks Piper why she didn't just freeze her attacker. But the beast was outside the phone booth and Piper's power doesn't work outside the room she is in.
Out in the hall, the man that saved Piper's life is waiting for her. His name is Billy and he has brought along an FBI agent, Agent Fallon, who's been studying attacks similar to hers. It turns out that Piper is the first to survive, and that Billy's fiancé was killed by the beast. Prue and Phoebe are just relieved that Piper didn't meet the same fate.
The next morning Phoebe readies herself for her first day on the job. Piper is in the kitchen looking up the beast from the previous night. Her sisters warn her not to go after it alone, and she promises them that she won't. Once Prue leaves, Phoebe admits to Piper that she is extremely nervous about the new job. She is worried that she'll disappoint Prue, but Piper assure her that she will do fine. Phoebe kisses her on the head and leaves. Then as Piper turns the pages in the BoS she finds the picture of the thing that attacked her. It's called a Wendigo.
At Quake, Piper tells Billy what she has found. Then as her gets up to leave Piper begins to feel dizzy. Later Andy calls to check up on her, but she tells him that she is okay and that she has sent Billy over to talk to him and Agent Fallon. Unfortunately for Billy though, Agent Fallon turns out to be the Wendigo, and she kills him in a deserted parking garage.
Over at the Bucklands, Phoebe has had a premonition about a bracelet slated for auction that very afternoon. Prue is extremely dismayed at this but Phoebe insists that they find out what it means. Later she discovers that the bracelet was thrown from a car when a private investigator was killed in an accident. He was trying to find a kidnapped girl and the bracelet proves that he had succeeded in his job. Using a little magic, Prue keeps the bracelet from being sold so that she and Phoebe can track down the girl.
At Quake, Piper is beginning to look very bad A health inspector shows up to check out the kitchen, and upon seeing the sickly manager, he abruptly sends her home. Later that afternoon she has a dream about Andy coming to the door. In the dream she answers it, then suddenly turns into a Wendigo, and attacks him. Piper wakes up to the sound of the doorbell. It is Andy. She doesn't want to open the door for fear that her dream might come true. But she finally does when he tells her that Billy is dead. They talk for a few minutes and as Piper closes the door she looks down at her bandaged arm. She slowly unwraps it, only to find a brown hairy patch on her skin.
Phoebe has finally found the mother of the kidnapped girl, and she and Prue reunite mother and daughter. Then they get a frantic call from Piper and rush home. Once there, Phoebe has a premonition of Agent Fallon turning into the Wendigo and attacking Andy. Prue goes to call him, as Phoebe leads Piper up to the attic to check the BoS. Piper's personality is beginning to change though, and she is getting nastier and nastier. She tries to fight it, but the Wendigo blood is quickly overcoming her. The sisters finally realize that they must kill Agent Fallon in order to save Piper. Prue hasn't been able to find Andy though, so they must warn him also. Piper is obviously getting worse, so Phoebe and Prue leave her behind, handcuffed to a pipe in the attic.
Back in the park where Piper was attacked, Agent Fallon and Andy are talking. They suspect that the Wendigo is after people with AB- blood. Since Andy is AB- this could make him the perfect target. While his back is turned, Agent Fallon turns into the Wendigo and lunges at him. Prue and Phoebe come to the rescue, flare gun in hand. Prue misses several times though and Phoebe takes the gun from her with one flare left. But suddenly there are two Wendigos running at them. One of them must be Piper, who has escaped from the attic. Finally Phoebe chooses one, and shoots at it. The Wendigo throws up its hands and freezes the flare. Phoebe has picked the wrong one. Prue moves the flare so that it hits the other Wendigo and as it is destroyed Piper turns back into her normal self. The only problem is that now she is naked. Phoebe quickly wraps her in her coat as Prue rushes to Andy's side.
At Quake the next day, Phoebe has decided to quit her job at Bucklands. Having all those old objects around will only bring on more premonitions. And they are far too emotional for the young witch. Prue understands, but as Piper gets up from the table she makes yet another nasty comment. Prue and Phoebe look at each other, wondering if there might still be some Wendigo blood in their sister. But then suddenly Piper smiles. It was only a joke.
