    Rolling there way right down memory lane, Prue and Phoebe sit together at a table looking through old photo albums. Phoebe seems to think that Prue was a camera hog, and marvels at how many pictures there are of her sisters as compared to herself. A few moments later Piper comes in, searching for a pen and a piece of paper to write a note. It seems that their grandmother had an admirer, a man who has come at the same time every year to drop off flowers for Grams. This year Piper wants to leave him a note to tell him that she is dead. But it's too late. He is already at the door. Quickly she answers it and the man immediately drops the flowers. This year Piper is happy to have her powers so that she can freeze him. She takes the flowers from him, then waits for him to unfreeze. Unfortunately for the sisters, the man is actually a warlock named Nicholas. He realizes that Piper has frozen him, after hearing the clock chime only five times when it should have been twelve. He pulls out a ring that grants him immunity to their powers, a ring he says their mother blessed. He then starts their blood a boiling. But Phoebe kicks him and the sisters escape up to the attic, then find a spell to unbind a bond. Hoping that this will somehow take away Nicholas' immunity, they quickly cast the spell. Nothing seems to happen, but then they hear a phone ringing. Prue goes out into the hall and peers down to the first floor. There she sees her grandmother talking on the phone. A moment later two little girls shoot across the room. The little girls are named Prue and Piper.
    Prue goes back to the attic and relays the news to her sisters. They are back in the past. Piper is freaked as Phoebe searches in vain for a return spell. But she can't find one. The phone rings again, and this time they all listen in on another line. It is their mother. She has just had a premonition about three warlocks. Realizing that their mother probably means them, the girls decide to  leave the house. But on the way out the door they run across their younger selves. Prue and Piper are shocked to see the youngsters using their powers. Just then Grams comes in, and thinking that the trio is the group of warlocks, she throws them out of the house, literally.
    Outside, Phoebe picks up a newspaper and looks at the date. It turns out that her mother is barely even pregnant with her. The sisters form a plan. Two of them will go and see their mother, and using their powers, they will prove who they are and ask for her help. Phoebe insists that Prue and Piper talk to her, since they have the active powers. So as they go into the restaurant where their mother works, Phoebe stays outside and watches for Nicholas. They realize that he is about to make a pact with their mother that will lead to her blessing the ring. And they can't let that happen.
    In the restaurant though, Prue and Piper botch the meeting with their mom. Too late, they realize that their powers don't work, and their mother ends up shooting them strange looks as she walks away. Piper tries to get her attention by telling her that they know that she pregnant. But Patty Halliwell tells them that she can't get pregnant. On her way out the door she runs into Phoebe. But Phoebe's reunion is interrupted by Nicholas who is following Patty. She distracts him as her mom walks away, then runs into the restaurant to find her sisters.
    It's time to come up with a new plan. They still have to stop Nicholas, but without powers it's not going to be easy. They decide to use the powers of their younger selves. Sneaking back into the house, Prue and Piper go to find the kids, while Phoebe stands guard against their Mom and Grams. The two Prues and the two Pipers talk for a few minutes, and the elder girls soon win over the younger ones. Unfortunately just as they are about to leave, a younger version of Andy runs in dressed as a sheriff and yells "Freeze!" Little Piper obliges, and suddenly everyone, including the elder Prue and Piper, is halted in their tracks. Grams and Mom are on their way down and Phoebe comes running in with a warning. The younger Piper quickly unfreezes everyone, and the older girls grab the younger ones and head for the door. But Andy wants to come with them. The older Piper gets the younger one to freeze him again, and they all run to the car. Not realizing what has happened, Grams comes down and unfreezes Andy. He tells her that some strange ladies took Prue and Piper. Grams fears that warlocks have kidnapped her granddaughters.
    Meanwhile, Patty Halliwell is on her way to a hotel to meet her husband Victor. But when she gets there she finds Nicholas. He handcuffs her so that she cannot use her powers, and then threatens to kill her and her unborn child if she does not bless the ring. She finally relents, hoping that Grams can find a way around the pact later.
    At a nearby park, the elder girls are training the kids in how to deal with a warlock. But then the police arrive, having spotted their "stolen" car. The three sisters are arrested for kidnapping themselves and are thrown in jail. Eventually a curious Patty comes and bails them out. They finally reveal their true identities, and their is a joyous family reunion. Back at the house they talk to Grams and decide on a course of action. Prue, Piper, and Phoebe go to Nicholas' hotel and get the ring. Then they bring it back to be unblessed. As they are about to return to their time, Phoebe writes a note to her mother, warning her about her impending death. Then the sisters say their good-byes and prepare to leave. Grams and their mother cast the spell and they disappear, only to return ten seconds later. The spell didn't have enough power behind it and they're still stuck in the past.
    Finally their mother realizes that the children still have the power of three. Little Phoebe gave her mother a premonition so she must already have her powers, even in the womb. Together, Patty and the girls should be able to get the sisters back to the present. Just as they are gathering up the kids, Nicholas storms in. As they run out to fight him, Phoebe reluctantly takes back the note she has left for her mother. Grams fights off Nicholas and then they all gather in the attic. Patty and the two little girls start reciting the spell. At the last second Phoebe takes a picture of the little family. Then the spell is cast the Halliwells are returned to their time.
    In the present Nicholas comes running through the attic door. But the ring is unblessed and Piper freezes him. Checking through the BoS, they find a Nicholas Must Die spell courtesy of Grams. They vanquish Nicholas and it is over.
    The next day the sisters are looking back through the photo album again. Phoebe tells them about the note she almost left, and how hard it was losing her mother a second time. Then Piper shows her the picture that Phoebe took as Patty and the children cast the spell. Phoebe proclaims it to be the best picture that she's ever taken of herself. She finally got her wish. She got the chance to know her mother.
