The Stygian Combine

 

 

 

Early in the history of Terra there were a great many disasters which befell her.  But for the blessings of the obscure race known then as the Observers most if not all of humanity would have been lost.   Several worlds in the Terran Pocket as it came to be known hosted refugee cultures from earlier ages of Humaniti .  Some worlds were actually settled in nearby pockets a few hundred light years away.  Some died out, a few grew and were benevolent.  

Then there is the Stygian Combine.  

Originally the Stygian culture from the Hyborian Age was brought here after the Phaeton / Terra encounter that ended the second era of civilization on Earth.  Better accurately described as the first End of the World by the cultures of the time.  Some 3000 years later elements of the Aegyptian culture arrived as refugees 

The synthesis of cultures resulted in a disaster for the world.  The worst elements of the Stygians evil ways with regards to black magic, human sacrifice and other repulsive habits were merged with the worship of a common diety Set. It spawned a world state taht far exceeded even the Aztecs or Nazi societies that were to later arise on Terra. 

Over time they matured as a culture. This is their world and empire that rose from that fusion and grew isolated and alone from the rest of Humaniti and were never revisted by the Observers.
