Protests continue in extremis for the Citizenship awards to be passed to all native Areans and Lunites. Extra terrestrial (non-LEO) Space, formerly a peacful realm, begins to turn into an armed camp as Terran Alliance facilities are fire-bombed and raided by protestors. The final act which begins to prompt Terran authorities is the detonation of a nuclear fusion device against the L5 Sky city, New Chicago. Terran fleets are retro-fitted with surface and ship-to-ship bombardment weapons in response to this threat.
Active protestor ships are hunted down and destroyed with ruthless efficiency. Parties calling for peace appear on both sides of the conflict but Terran Alliance leaders, not wanting to bear an added burden of handing out Citizenship benefits to Ares and Luna residents (approx population 2 billion) refuse to cooperate.
Noticed only to a few commanders during the conflict, ALL ships entering Trojan points in Earth's orbit are vaporized for unknown reasons
April 3rd: the planetary governments of Ares and Luna declare sessation from the Terran Alliance and form the Axis of Interplanetary Cooperation against the Terran Alliance. PLATO, siding with the side of the non-Terrans severs links with ARISTOTLE.
May 5th: after a month of tension and sabre rattling on both sides of the conflict, Terran Naval forces engage and destroy the first wing of AIC vessels in a bloody conflict.
Debris from battle locations begins drifting in high Earth and low Ares orbits. Rounds from fired chain guns and rail guns begin to circle the Inner System in dangerous parabolic orbits. From time to time these "bullets" impact against other ships on peaceful missions and commercial ventures. Civilian outrage occurs on both sides of the conflict, but Naval forces fight on.
July 18th: After suffering several defeat from TA Naval forces, AIC strategists turn the cargo rail guns on Luna (used before for low cost lift of resource materials to Terran orbit) into bombardment engines against Terran cities. New York, Los Angeles, Rio Di Janero are wiped off the map in the first few minutes of the bombardment.
July 19th : Terran forces retaliate with multi megaton nuclear weapons against Luna. Tycho City, Diomedes and Luna City are eliminated by plumes of fusion.
August 15th : After the initial bombardments are concluded, Ares forces that launched a small asteroid (1km), previously covered in stealth materials, direct the impact of it to the Pacific Basin. Worldwide tsunamis and earthquakes rock Terra for the rest of the year. Population losses exceed one billion. Terran resistance crumples in the face of these losses.
September 12th : Terran Marines land on Ares and begin to systematically eradicate Ares settlements. Losses exceed 20 million. Terrans conquer most of civilzed Ares establishments. AIC retaliatory bombardments are withheld in fear of hitting Ares population bases and disrupting the fragile Ares- ecosystem.
December 30th: Treaty of Algeron signed granting all solar human residents Citizenship. Taxes imposed system wide to raise capital for the Citizen dole. Terra's effforts to fully civilize Luna and Ares begin again stressing power and automated factory construction. Terran Marines withdraw from Ares and Legion forces exit beachheads on Luna.
Terran culture shocked at the ferocity of the low gravity Humans. Racial tensions no longer focused on philosophy or skin tones. Now racial issues are biased against the strength of gravity wells. 2571-2580 General Nicolai Kerensky, of the planet state of Russia, commander of 4th Terran Marine Division announces intent to create a distant colony of humans in Spinward Space with the blessings of the Terran Alliance. Casualties heavy on both sides as ground and space forces clash with no mercy or quarter given. Weapons of mass destruction used by both sides in conflict. Both space fleets shocked and scattered when a Tandu battlecruiser self-destructs a LARGE (approx 21 metric tonnes) quantity of antimatter in high transfer orbit over Marathon.Simulatneously, a 500 meter nickel iron meteor slams into Marathon at relativistic velocities.
Estimated yield is 1.008 Teratonnes of TNT (1,000,000 megatons) released as hard radiation and blast effects from anitmatter blast. Impact energies of the projectile exceed 30 Exatonnes in yield

2721 The citizenship scale from C-1 to C-4 is established. Standard Humans, Vulcans and Andorians are issued C2 citizenship awards. Chim, and Garthlings are issued C3 citizenship awards. Vrusk are issued C4 ratings as a conquered race. High class C3 races are issued C2 ratings to ensure loyalties of racial 'helpers'. This affects things from the Citizen Dole to reactions from police forces.
2722 AI systems express concern for the citizenship scale but continue to perform duty. Rumors of robofacs producing artifical persons and AI colony ships surface but are discounted by general population after news reports show scenes and locations in question.

2724 In a push to trailing spaces in search of Tandu, Terran Scout ships discover Yaziri system, homeworld of the Yazirians. They are still devloping space flight but are bloodlessly conquered by the 'invitation' to join the Terran Axis. After being shown scenes from the last interstellar conflicts, the Yazirians accept memberships and are universally issued C3 ratings across the board.
2729 Death of Antimatter YearJan 16th Hostlities between the worlds of Talos and Andros erupt over mineral rights disputes in surrounding but interlinked Oort Clouds of both systems.
Feb 4th Warfare breaks out between two Axis worlds.
Mar 23rd On the arrival of the 755th Axis Task Force, Andronian warships drop planetbuster antimatter warheads against Talos.
April 755th Task Force destroys Andronian Planetary militia and captures world governor and staff of Andros. Sumary executions follow and are reinforced as the entire system is red-zoned to all stellar traffic. Patrol Forces are brought in to establish a blockade of system. All ships attempting to break it are destroyed with no quarter given.
May Axis forces nuke and eliminate all sources of stellar and system ship construction in the Andros system in retaliation for the deaths caused by planetbuster release. 100 year blockade established
June 15th Axis Congress (All houses pass) Universal legislation making private ownership of antimatter punishable by death + 500 years Hell imprisonment. All known production facilities are destroyed or nationalized by Axis government.
2729-2735 Widespread public reaction and backlash against antimatter as a means of power production.
2736 Vrusk citizens upgraded to Scale 3 citizens and allowed universal travel rights as befits all members of the Terran Axis. Yazirians are still junior members and are still Scale 3 citizens. However, based on individual contributions and wealth levels, all citizens are able to move up on the citizenship scales. Only Humans, Vulcans and Andorians are acle to become C1 citizens though.
2738 Astronomers at Madder's Star extra solar observatories , the most coreward settlement of the Terran Axis, are alarmed at the appearance of several supernovae in the unexplored coreward regions of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way. These regions are approx 50-100 ly coreward of the boundary of the Terran Axis.
2739 Upon closer examination of the coreward disturbances, these events are determined to be planetary destruction events. Someone or something is using planetbusters in a conflict outside of Terran space. Remembering the last war with the Tandu, forces are assembled to begin exploration of the region.

2740 AD In response to growing problems in administering Axis territories, the Terran Axis creates office of President. Senator Palpatine is elected.
2741AD Senator Palpatine begins a seven year presidency of the Axis. Exploration efforts are coordinated not so much for more habitable world but for exploitable resources and defensive postures amongst any extra Axis multistellar governments that may exist.
Carefully manufactured riots are generated across the Axis to foment an atmosphere of anarchy. Several high ranking opponents of the young President are revealed to be capable of evils beyond the imaginations of most Citizens.

Harvester Campaign
Initial discoveries of Harvester space reveal a frighteningly advanced spohont-machine multi-racial collection of beings involved in megaengineering projects like Ringworlds, Dyson spheres and breakdown of planetary and stellar bodies for power. All Axis ships will be ale to do against warships from the Harvesters is scratch the paint.
The Harvesters are led by none other than the Precursors of the Human race, that doesn’t make them any friendlier but it will certainly establish the potential power that the humans and associated clients carry within their genes.

Note : Tandu are a predominant portion of the Inheritor Alliance. The very same beings that inhabited Tindar space, ergo a sooner colony that used weapons of mass destruction against worlds with Potential and sapient species. This information, revealed in a court of Institute could very well spawn a War of Enslavement against the Tandu.
