Al sat upright and looked toward the door. He glanced at Jenny then back toward the door. The visitor knocked again, this time louder. Al, thinking it might be an emergency, went to open the door! No sooner than he unlocked the door, it came flying open and Al was greeted with a knife to his thoat! Jenny screamed! "No need for that, missy. You have no neighbors." Lee laughed, showing his dark yellow teeth. "Scream all you want." "Yea, scream baby." Buzz sounded like a retard. Jenny stood silent. "We needed some wheels, but she's kinda pretty." Lee winked at Jenny. I think I'd rather have her. Dennis was upstair with his headphones on. His parents thought he was asleep. He was growing tired and decided to sleep. He pulled the headphones off and head talking downstairs. He didn't like what he heard. He quietly eased his way to the head of the stairs. He almost screamed himself when he saw the knife at his fathers neck! Downstairs, Lee instructed Buzz to find him some alcohol. Buzz returned with a bottle of expensive wine. "Will this work." Buzz opened the bottle and drank it by mouth. He then passed the bottle to Lee, who took several large swallows. "I'll bet that sweet little girl is freezing her pigtails off." Lee giggled. "Shut your mouth!"Buzz popped Lee on the side of his head. "What little girl?" Al asked, the knife still to his throat. "I don't know," Buzz said, "we came to, and there was this little girl in the back seat. Then we got stuck." "So you just left her out there to die! Jenny was angry! "Yea." Lee answered with a slight giggle. Just at the top of the stairs, twelve year old Dennis heard it all. He then heard his mother scream "Where is she, you son of a..." " Hey, don't holler at me, missy." Buzz put his finger in her face. "Besides, we can't remember." Both men laughed. Dennis was confused. His parents or the little girl. Al saw his son at the top of the stairs and knew that he heard and nodded. Dennis went to his fathers room and grabbed his dads 44 magnum headed for the nearest window to make his escape. Why did he have such a big hand gun, Dennis thought to himself. He wanted to save the little girl! Nikki woke up. Her skin was numb. She felt to scared to cry. She tried to crack the door open, but the blistering cold wind forced her to close it. The snow was blowing so hard, she couldn't see anything out of the window. She was shivering hard and began to look for something to keep her warm. She too was scared to venture out. She found a musty old coat under the seat that smelt like beer, cigarettes and who knows! She forced herself to wrap up in it. Dennis was hit hard by the cold and wind. It stung his face. He wasn't dressed as warmly as he should be. He also was worried about how dark it was. This was not going to be fun! Jenny thought of how noble Al was, but had he made the right decision? There was nothing they could do now. She prayed to herself the Dennis would find the girl and both kids would be okay. Dennis faced the storm head on. The cold wind in his face. The hard blowing snow in his eyes. It hurt. But inside, he knew what he had to do. Every now and then, he reached for the gun he tucked in his pants, just to make sure it was there. He marched on. Nikki was asleep, but still shivering. She didn't realize that parts of her tiny body were becoming numb. Her teeth chattered. She was cold, but too tired to wake up. Buzz ordered Lee to find something to tie up Jenny. He broke a lamp and used the cord. He tied her to a chair. While bound, Buzz played with the knife around her throat. "You are mighty sexy." he said. Do you mind?" he ask Al. Al reached for Buzz, But Lee held him back. "We're gonna have to tie him up too." Buzz said. Lee did as he were told. The cold wind hurt Dennis's face, but he marched on. He knew what he had to do. He hoped he could find her before it was too late. It wasn't long before his toes became numb. He didn't have time to dress as warmly as he should have. He just tried to think of something else, like safely finding that little girl. It must be hard for someone to survive in weather like this especially in killer blizzard like this. He marched on. He had no idea where he was going. He just hoped he came across the vehicle. He said a little prayer to himself and marched on. Buzz paced the floor. Other than that, everything was quiet. "I feel a draft." Lee said. "Shut-up!" Buzz shouted. "Well, I do." Lee persisted. It suddenly occurred to Buzz that someone else may be here, or been here. "Watch them!" Buzz said to Lee as he ran up the stairs, taking three at a time. His eyes grew wide when he saw the hall window slightly ajar. Dennis forced his way through the strong, cold wind. It burned his face. To him, everything looked the same. Heavy snow and everything was white. He began to focus on something ahead of him. It was a large white lump. A lump in the shape of a Blazer! His eyes popped wide open and he tried to run toward the snow covered vehicle. He said a little prayer to himself. Was the little girl alive? As hard as he tried to run, the wind seem to hold him back. The Blazer was only a few feet away, but it seemed forever to get there. | The strom rages on!!!

| Stay tuned! |
Al fell over in his chair, landing hard on his side. It hurt, but he got his hands free. After a brief struggle, he was able to get up and free his wife, Jenny. Somehow, in the process, he cut his lip. He paid it no mind as he cut Jenny loose. He wondered where Dennis was. Had he found the little girl? At this point, he knew he had to find his son. Dennis arrived at the Blazer and began knocking snow off of the door in order to find the handle. That didn't take long. When he found it, he gave it a pull. It was either locked or frozen shut. It didn't help matters that his hands were near frozen. He began to beat the side window. Then he peaked in. At first he saw nothing, then he saw a wadded up blanket begin to move. "Open the door!" Dennis was very loud, even though his throat hurt. He hit the glass again. "It's Okay, I want to help you!" Dennis pleaded. He saw her pale face peak from behind the stale blanket. She knew it wasn't the men who took her, but she still didn't know him. But he looked safe. Buzz and Lee forced their way through the cold, gusty winds and blinding snow. Buzz was constantly cursing Lee. "Buzz!" Lee had taken all he could take. "Kiss my ASS!" Buzz gave Lee a pure look of anger. "Remind me later to kick the crap out of you!" Buzz shouted. "I ain't got time right now." "Give it up, Buzz!" Lee pleaded. "If they find that little girl, were up the creek!" Buzz marched on. "Why did we get her?" Lee asked. Buzz stopped for a second, now a little more sober. "I don't know." He was silent for a second. "Shut-up and come on. Lee ignored him and began to run away. In just seconds, Buzz could no longer see him. He now realized that he was on his own. For some reason, that didn't bother him. He continued on.
