Just curious. Who is doing the clippering? In an earlier part the barber was standing in the background. I expect that she will look much better without her hair. With no hair to hide behind, the features of many women actually become much more attractive. A tight ponytail often reveals this effect, but it is when they become bald that the effect is most striking.

Well spotted. The clippering and wet shaving is done by the assistant of the barber. He asked her a dozen times if she was sure of cutting and shaving all her hair off. Undoubtedly the most exciting haircut ever for him and her..

As evidenced by past photos, the shorter this young lady goes with her hair, the better she looks! Shorter than shoulder length styles definitely suit her best. This latest, shortest style looks the greatest so far! Does she have any thoughts on how short she might ultimately go?

The haircut we gave her with # 317 is the shortest she dared to go and ever went. She did not change her mind since this one which took place three years ago. However, our experience with models is, never say never... The lovely # 493 model has clippershaved her head several times, The last time with balding clipper and a super close 000000 cutting blade. A wet razor shave was totally off limits for her since years until very recently. Monday November 2nd, the barber will lather her head for the cleanest possible shave.

I have to say, this is one of your more prettier models. Looking at the expressions on her face, it seems like she really did like her head shave. Bravo, for a really nice looking model, made nicer looking after her haircut. Thank you for sharing these photos with us.

Please don't misconstrue this as a complaint, but I've been keeping up with the great makeover of this young lady and I seem to have missed something. I can't seem to find any photos of the stylist cleaning up the girl's hairline. In Part 31 it appears it has yet to happen and then the stylist begins working on her top with texturizing shears and the nape looks clean. Have I been asleep at the wheel or are you guys making me wait for the complete makeover? It's a detail I can't let go un-commented about! Whatever I might have missed the haircut is top-notch. Wow- this latest round of this great model features some sublime moments. These are definitely some of the best moments in Catwalk memory, certainly for a headshave. Dear Catwalk, When the stylist really clipped the sides and back of this lovely models hair super short I fretted, but the great blending of the top and sides makes it look fantastic. Not too short after all. I'm looking forward to some great nape clipping to complete the look. You guys are the best and I love the new group of stylists just like I adored the old ones. Thanks very much for bringing this up. Initially the stylist conservatively used a traditional # 3 guard. Our model, who once was featured with a full wet headshave was not excited with the result. She wanted something more daring and discussed the options with the stylist. After some hesitation she eventually agreed to go for the #1 guard with super close shorn back and sides. If I really don't like it, no harm done. I will tell you and simply shave all off said the brave model. The #1 immediately gives a distinctive sharp contrast between the exposed skin and remaining longer hair. Almost giving the impression of instantantly ruining a haircut completely. What our very talented and experienced stylist demonstrated here is the difference between a 'ruined' amateur haircut as often seen and a truly exciting, masterfully blended haircut standing out from the crowd. This was exactly what our model was looking for. No need for her to get rid of it all...
Just as you felt, we have seen several other models getting fretted after a few passes with the # 1 & 2 guards. It does look shocking in the beginning but once meticulously tapered and blended by a skilfull stylist, it looks awesome.

have been anxiously awaiting the completion of this model's cut. She was lovely to begin with and has tidied up a moppish short cut into a sleek, chic, incredible close look. Her perfectly belnded and tapered look reminds me a great deal of the photo that hangs from the mirror in my shop, labeled as the "House speciality."

The model looks great as this haircut moves forward. She looks very surprised as each swipe cuts her hair shorter. Didn't she expect the haircut to be this short? What number attachment is being used on the clippers? Love your site. I review daily.

When she made the appointment, she insisted on having her hair cut extremely short, buzzed.
The last thing we want is an unhappy model.Just prior to the haircut, it is standard procedure for us and the stylist to make sure the model realizes how short it will be showing examples from all angles. Although she was very firm seconds before the haircut, as soon as the clippers took her long locks off she had some difficult moments. Understandably, it is not easy for a young woman to feel and see two years worth of hairgrowth fall off under the clippers, The stylist left her a chance to back off, keeping the clippers away from the top for a while. The girl bravely got through of it all and felt proud and happy she bit the bullet. Afterwards she admitted she was close to crying and shouting 'stop !' when the stylist positioned the running clippers on her forehead, but said she was glad she did not do it.
The stylist gave her the intended #3 - 3/8 inch/ 9 mm all over buzz with closer back and sides. Happy end !

The detailed pictures of the nape being given a straight edge are spectacular. My eye always goes to another woman's nape to see how neat and tidy this is. It is always difficult to see how this is being done on oneself but its so important and less exacting stylists tend to leave it untidy so I have always asked for it to be given careful attention.
