Let me introduce myself.
For several years, I have critiqued for published authors, business people
and writers who strive for success.
You'll find many, legitimate, references from just a few of these wonderful people listed on the site.

Firstly, I work with published and unpublished fiction authors. Consequently I
stay current with how publishers want to be approached. I also have a keen insight into
what they are looking for and a knowledge of the pitfalls many authors stumble into.
I belong to many writing establishments, including 'RNA,' 'WB,' 'Characters Make Your Story'
and other reputable organisations.
I am also a published practising freelance journalist, short story competition winner,
and an author who knows the joys and woes of writing, the hard work involved and the
sheer delight of seeing ones name in print.
Critiquing Services.
Whether you are a published author or have set your sights on becoming one, your writing
needs to be immaculate. Therefore, faultless English, layout and a clear presentation
are invaluable.
Far too often, an author's work is rejected simply because they have mistakes in spelling,
grammar or their style results in a negative impression. Your work then fails to have the
impact you desired and, sadly, ends up in the rejection pile.
It is notoriously difficult to spot errors in your own work as you are so familiar with
it and computer spelling checkers are no help. For example, the following sentence has
four errors, none of them found by a spelling checker:
............................"The boy kicked he ball threw a whole i the wall."
The correct sentence is of course:
............................"The boy kicked the ball through a hole in the wall."
I am here to help you with the painstaking job of examining each character, word,
space and punctuation mark in your text.
Fees
Watching your pennies can be a daunting task, and spending them for a service you are not happy
with is never pleasant. Because of this, I provide my services
for the first 10 sample pages of your manuscript.
(*This is based on the common formula of 250 words per page.
The standard word count of 250 words per page is based on 25 lines per page, courier 12,
10 words per line.*)
After sending me your opening pages and, if you decide you are happy with my sample edit
and would like me to critique your work in its entirety,
please send your partial or MS and payment in full to:

£60.00 per partial. (The first three chapters of your MS).
£200.00 per complete manuscript.

If you prefer to email me your work, please ensure your work is attached via a WORD.DOC and your
payment arrives within 7 days of sending.
If mailing your work, please ensure your payment is sent with your typescript,
plus either stamps or an amount to cover return postage.
I cannot accept responsibility for any material that may be lost in transit,
so please insure your package.
I aim to return work within a calendar month but, since some typescripts demand
more time and attention than others, it is difficult to be precise about the turnaround
time. Clearly, it takes considerable time to assess a substantial
piece of work and to write a thorough report, so please be patient.
