Stephan and I met on December 12th, 1999. It was his 25th birthday.
We found our real soulmates, but never thought it would be from another country opposite sides of the world.
We got married in the USA on April 22, 2000.
He was in the German Air Force and was getting out.
We moved to Germany on June 27th.
We have been here for two months.
It is not easy being in an international relationship.
It takes a lot of love understanding and communication.
His parents have done a lot for us to make the transition a little bit easier for us.
My husband already speaks English and know I have to learn Deutsch.

We would like to be married this year but because of his job,
he cannot move here and because of my daughter's heart condition I cannot move there.
I am looking for information on marriages when you are forced to live in seperate countries
and how difficult it is to travel back and forth.
Issues that may arise and whether the government can refuse entry to someone who is married but living seperately.

Lloyd studied in Hungary. We had known each other for a long time before we got married in 1992.
We have two children, Kevin (1995) and Alex (2000).
I speak Hungarian to the children, Kevin is bilingual, and hopefully Alex will follow.
We live in Jamaica but we are planning to move back to Hungary soon.
Unfortunately, Lloyd needs a work permit and generally the immigration process is ridiculously complicated.
Lloyd id a telecom engineer, Anikó is a teacher/linguist.

I am a 19 year old African American college student who is deeply in love with a 36 year old gentleman from Central Africa.
I met Alex July 4th, 1999 through my mom's husband who is also from Central African Republic.
He wowed me with his beautiful French-African accent and his eloquent command of the English language.
Being of two different cultures has so far been a blessing for us, we've encountered
no problems because of it and enjoy learning new things from and about each other every day.
We are planning on taking our relationship a step further in July of 2001 and I hope our cultural differences will continue to work in our favor.
